Its not that bad... Still have one less game played then Carolina and play them twice in a row.

On top of that they are only 6 out of eighth and 7 out of 7th. NJ has 2 more games on the Caps and the NYR the Caps play tomorrow. Hopefully MoJo plays.

It's pretty much over when someone is desperate enough to htink Marcus Johansson is going to be the savior.

I don't often agree with you, but you win. Although IF he was playing injured, he's gotta still be better than Wolski and/or Crabb... right?

He's much better than Hendricks and we have yet to see him play with Ribeiro, which is the crutch of a short training camp, no experimenting what so ever, just set the lines before hand and stuck to it through the whole thing.

On top of that, I actually watched games during the lock out, he really took the next step in his development and I think solidified himself as a winger, not a center.

Every Swedish poster during the Channel One cup was saying he was playing better than Backstrom.

Wolski and Crabb aren't why this team is losing. The injury thing might be relevant to him being Schultz-bad, but it doesn't explain why he was already that bad in the playoffs last year. It's not going to matter who's in the lineup if they don't treat the remaining games like playoff games.

At least you weren't so desperate that you had to pull out some Channel One Cup crap that no one cares about.

I'm surprised that the Lightning seem to suck. I thought Yzerman would build a winner there.

I haven't followed them closely. What's their problem? Goalie? D? Injuries? Or are they just going through a bad stretch?

If CHI's goaltending is turning back into the pumpkin they always used to be, things might actually be interesting to watch out west...

Usually after a streak like that ends you'll be collectively deflated as hell. The game becomes boring for a while. Basic human psychology. I can see them dropping 8 of the next 10 or something like that.

No, not really. Well, I mean, they're both mediocre goalies having great seasons behind a dominant team. But if they both regress back to who they really are it might actually be interesting, that's all.

I'll take the WAY under on that. Wouldn't be surprised to see them make a push today and get back in it, but either way, I expect they're back to winning most nights in a game or two from now.

Crosby has more assists than anyone on our team has points. That's absurd.

There's like 3 other guys in the NHL period with as many points as he has assists, and one of them is Kunitz IINM.

Now that was a brutal call against the Oilers. Schultz penalized for playing with a broken stick and he had dropped the stick right away. Referees this season have just been horrid.

Goalie can't stop the puck, D outside of Salo and Hedman has been bad outside of the first ten games or so. They are underperforming, too, right now. The forwards aren't defensively responsible enough and lack two-way ability little too much.

Building winner takes time. I think most are happy with he's work, can't blame him. A lot of people won't Boucher fired and Cooper to step in.
