Oilers @ Chicago: I'd rather watch Wallking Dead

I've already put in to much effort.

I can imagine dnicks sitting in his underwear next to his laptop this morning trying to figure out how to re-align the 3 GDTs he merged.

Go on youngling, you'll figure it out.

EDIT: Oh damn you did. Cheated, but you did it! Props and bottles!

if there is a time that chicago can be beaten, this is it.
think they'll not have as much effort now that the streak is over and will have a bit of a let down.

not saying the oilers will win, but it would be their best chance to do so.

who is the practice goalie? could he maybe play today?

HFBoards is wonky, but I'd bring it back if I could find it.

But comparatively, it'll take you 20 seconds to re-post your OP. Great hustle though, I'm slow on the draw. Damn DST!

Lol, no worries.

I was just trying to keep the theme of putting in little to no effort for a team that gives us little to no effort .

And I noticed the boards are acting up. Did the DST change **** it up?

Would another loss by shutout break Katz's back?

If not, I say we call in Bane.

Ya that's one theory.

Or... Chicago could just crush the lifeless Oilers on home ice where they are unbeaten in regulation and start another winning streak... ya I'll go with that one.

If we win in overtime or the shoot-out, we will have 1/2 the amount of points as the Hawks. That's a goal worth shooting for, isn't it?

Oilers will keep it close for 2, go down in the third. Krueger pulls Yann with 4 minutes left.

Belanger scores but only after Crawford scores into the empty net.

Jack Michaels ‏@EdmontonJack

Horcoff, Hemsky, Potter, and Harikainen in. Belanger on IR (groin). Eager and Peckham scratched. Petrell and Jones game-time decision.

Does it really make a difference though? Unless you're replacing him with a real NHL defenceman, which we're not in this case because we don't have enough, it really doesn't matter..

Horcoff in, and Belanger out... so we're just not allowed to have 4 healthy centers at any given time apparently.

We'll get pasted this game. It'd be nice to see some kind of effort though.

In the last GDT I said I was hoping for 20+ shots and 1 goal. Didn't pan out.

I was bat**** crazy with that optimism. Why didn't anyone call me out on that lunacy?

This game I'm tempering my exuberance... If the Oil can get less than 12 goals against that's a victory.

3-0, 6-0, 12-0... break that pattern boys... I still have faith.
