Blues @ Ducks 7 Central

Halak will be in net. Other people will be wearing white jerseys with smaller pads. They will be wearing metal blades on the bottom of their shoes while being on a slick surface attempting to hit a black mass of solid rubber with sticks into an opposing net with a red border.

One of said players is named Vladimir and is coming off of a hat trick game, it is not the Vladimir that people would expect to get a hat trick.

even if our guys, especially one guy, showed a lot of courage and will yesterday I still don't expect us to win this one

We should have beaten them in St. Louis. Elliott let in two of the softest goals I've ever seen and the Blues still got it to OT.

I'm feeling optimistic. Just need to shut down Bobby Ryan who seemingly always kills us with fire.

Anaheims due for a loss. They aren't as good as their record shows.

We got it to a shootout and scored like 3 times in that shootout and STILL found a way to lose. That's the game that pretty much forced management to look at Jake Allen.

That was in St. Louis though, and the Ducks have been amazing at home(think they only have 1 home loss). This is definitely a big test.

3rd game in 4 days and the 2nd half of a B2B for the Blues. Don't like that.

True....but not for Halak. If he wants to be the clear starter here, its about time he steals a game. This would be a good place to start.

Outside of a win, do you know what I want to see tonight?

I want Ryan Reaves to drop the mitts

Lineup not released as far as I'm aware, but he probably will. Word is that the tests on his shoulder/arm were negative after the game.

He came back in the game last night. I would imagine he will be good to go.

Same lineup as last night except Halak in net.

Not optimistic, I'd probably be happy with a point.

I think this is the game Halak starts to get it rolling. I predict a tough Blues win, maybe a 2-1 game.

I am not sure why I'm optimistic, I am a little. Looking forward what I can see of the game, have to miss a good chunk of it. I might record and avoid the board, or maybe I'll just read what you guys have to say and forget catching up on TV. That seems to be the luckier choice!

Nice effort by Backes.

Don't like they we've already had to use the timeout.

Kelly, "Blues are playing a simple game so far"

Being hemmed in your zone is pretty simple?
