Having two less teams in the western divisions seems to indicate the NHL is looking to add two new teams for the expenasion money that comes with it. I would assume Los Vegas & Seatle out west to be added in the next yr or two.

I don`t think Ottawa will have it in tougher than they alreay have it. How many yrs has the North East Division provided at least three playoff teams out of five teams? Often would be my answer. Detroit in our division is really the only good to better team but they are getting old & their team is changing. I'm okay with it, this team should be build to beat everybody anyway, the tougher the division the better prepared Ottawa will be for every other team.
