I'm hesitant to blame Tallas for the goaltending woes this team is currently experiencing.
Theodore had played well his final season in Washington and was stealing minutes from a strong Backstrom while in Minny. I would hardly call last season an aberration. Our D is horrible this year. Clemmenson is horrible. Tallas has done a great job with our goalies over the years. We have half our team healthy right now. And we aren't even that good when we are fully healthy.

As others have pointed out, it was foolish to expect a rookie goaltender to come in and act as the team's messiah. He's still young and still has things to improve upon. It's going to take time.

Yonkman is the only one showing any semblance of testicular fortitude. Good on him. I have no problem with his play.

Huberdeau-Bjugstad-MacKinnon

If we could get some defense we might become a playoff team one day

As for Yonkman penalty . At least someone is sticking up for team mates. We're gonna lose 5,6,7-1 anyways

I wonder what the worst GAA in league history for a team in a season. We're close to 4 I guess this season

Yeah but if you are going to do it drop the gloves and pound him don't just bounce him off the glass and take a penalty. At least make him pay some kind of price. All you do is make him laugh at you as you skate off for a penalty. So far looks like a good decision to stay home tonight. And as RainingRats said earlier for ****s sake protect your goalie. Anybody in the crease wacking at Marky should be on their ass. This team is so freaking soft its ridiculous.

I agree with this post! He really has to learn a lot but it will come after a time. But he cant cover cover up for the horrible mistakes our D makes. He bailded us out a few times already.

I dont expect this to be a close tbh. Habs are the better team and we can be glad if they dont win by more than 4.

@Yonkman: Of course it was stupid but who are the others who care on the team. Not a few.

Tallon staying with blueprint. Good!

Think Tallon just pretty much admitted there's gonna be moves made as he said we'll most likely see Petrovic and Howden this season
