I think back to all these posts during Subban's holdout that said Subban for Couturier would've been a fair deal for both teams.
Ah yes. Subban may end up with twice as many points as Couturier in this shortened season.

Are you going by his nationality or his play? The Gagner line is the Oilers best right now and while Gager and MPS are outplaying Yak, he's part of that line for a reason.

I wouldn't trade Galchenyuk for Yakupov either, but Yak is great.

Dominant performance all-around.

Special kudos for Bouillon. Gorgeous snipe. Lower slot. Top titty. Where grandma hides the cookies. Breaking the shutout. Goal scorer's goal...

gallagher has to be the front runner for the calder at this point.

the guy makes everyone around him play better, wonder if he's good enough to play pk minutes.

Great game by the boys. Ryder seems to finally fitting into MT's system, and Subban has just been incredible. It's been repeated 100 times but the strength of this team is that every game a different line contributes. Vs. Boston it was the Desharnais line, vs. Carolina it was Eller and tonight Plek's line.

I may be getting ahead of myself but I'm really wondering what MT is going to do once Bourque and Prust are back in the lineup. I wonder what the lines will look like, great problem to have.

I don't think he was the best. And I'm one who is seemingly the only one to give Eller props, or at least used to be. He was good out there, still needs to stop holding his stick too tight. Definitely one of our better players tonight.

The 2nd line needs a kick in the ass, imo. Especially on the PP.

Calder is more points base than actual play. I only heard Huberdeau's name twice.

Gallagher has to get closer to Huby and Conacher in order to be a front runner.

No real scapegoats since this was a game where almost everyone played well.

White earned a double minor. Boullion scores an own goal but is saved because he scored a goal. The whipping boy (by some ) Gionta had another solid game. Ryder is quieting the skeptics and Cole fans. Price was on the bench and Budaj played solid. Armstrong and Moen led the team in hits. Emelin was solid.

That about covers it.

He had a really solid game, but man will that kid ever learn to pass the puck? Don't get me wrong, his moves are probably the best on the team, but he causes so many unnecessary turnovers with his hogging IMO.

No way in hell was Eller the best player on the ice tonight.

And just for you, Eller is doing well and played a solid game tonight.

That year was terrible for rookies.

Once Gally closes the gap a bit coupled with his strong play they might take him into consideration.
