As soon as Danis came in, I thought we'd lose.

I had a moment of stupidity when Dubnyk had his moment of stupidity and demanded he be pulled for such a bone head journey out of his net.

In hindsight I regret muttering that.

If Danis is our starting goaltending for any length of time...

Krueger... wow. No idea what he's doing.

Glad they won. 5-2-0 with Horcoff.

Still so mad at Kruger playing fetal position. Play Yak. Have some offensive threat. Especially when you can't trust the goaltending, you can't sit in your zone with the other team knowing there's no penalty for pinching.

I don't even care about Krueger at this point.

We won a damn game in the toughest building in the NHL.

And the Flames are behind us!

This. I'm usually one of the guys to say "hey! How can you be negative about a loss", but this is why.

This is the same coach that got us 6-0 plastered in Nashville.

Urgh. But I want to be positive....

Enjoyed that game, very entertaining. Thought the Oil did good. the Inexperience shined through though, not that it should surprise anyone. It sure was nice to score 6!

only the oilers could make beating the best team in the league on home ice for the first time SOOOO frustrating

that last play where hossa stripped horcoff about says it all really... pretty pathetic game all in all, that we were *exceptionally* lucky to win... i guess every team lucks out like this a few times a year though

this.

so true. krueger definitely is screwing this team over bad.
i hate this "play not to lose" mentality

also this wasn't the greatest game for the oil. nice early offensive explosion but again, defensive breakdowns and they got away with a few plays that could have been called penalties that weren't.

entertaining game though. THIS is what the nhl should be like. Fast paced and chances back and forth. i love this type of game. Keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Also the fact that Ryan Whitney and Corey Potter are dressing at all, let alone on a regular basis, makes me want to rip out Lowe/Tambellini's throats. At least we got a win though.

What? This a last place team in a meaningless game. What would you be doing if this was in the playoffs?

I don't even care what happened during the last 2 periods. We beat the Blackhawks 6-5 in Chicago!

This would have meant more to me if the Hawks were still "unbeaten"

Glad the offense came out tonight. Still not impressed with the Oilers in their own zone.

It's because were not blind and can see past the score. This team has massive holes all over the place, like Grand Canyon sized holes...

I am happy we won, no question. Great showing by us. I really feel like Kruger choked us off at the end though.

We dont have the players to try to choke off and sit on the lead (like what SJ did to us after getting 6 in the first).

Run n Gun to the end.
