Far from a solid game. Outstanding 1st period and then Chicago dominated. I hate how when we get a lead, in the 2nd half of the game we just sit back and coast. It has cost us so many times including on this road trip. Power play looked great tonight. Dubnyk better not miss time. I have 0 confidence in Danis. He's not a good goalie.

RNH looked better offensively tonight. Hopefully he keeps it up. Want to end the road trip with a win vs Colorado (although they have turned their game around and look good now).

Lets string some wins together. Good job on the 2 points tonight!

They did not play like crap. Playing like crap was a 6-0 loss in Nashville.

yeah, some of us have hated krueger since about the 4th game of the year, when his "tendencies" became all-too-apparent

i've said it a bunch of times, and i'll keep saying it (as it continues to be true): krueger has NO IDEA how to run a bench ... consistently playing the wrong players at the wrong times... it's laughably bad in fact

I don't get all the whining....yes we got dominated the second half of the game but we brought the game in the first half and they brought there's in the second half. Just goes to show how good a team Chicago is to not give up.

that was entertaining and they played hard in the 1st

Chicago woke up in the 2nd and the gap between the 2 teams is huge but at least the Oilers battled hard

complain all you want but they got the win against the best team in the league with a 3rd stringer in net

So I shouldn't be anxious?

Maybe I want this team to win a few games and stop being the league's joke.

Exciting game, but not a great game by any means, and this one is on Krueger. As long as this team plays not to lose, it will always be a loser franchise.

you can thank krueger's "system" for that... never putting the petal to the metal, never going for the throat, never trying to knock a team out of it... always playing not to lose, playing passive and weak... krueger's system makes me want to kick babies, lol

Yep. People get confused sometimes. Push-back by a team doesn't automatically make our response crappy or bad. It's the best team in the league. You're going to have moments where they're dominating, and that's what happened. We kept the lead, won, and that's what matters.

Why was MPS stapled to the bench when the team is supposed to be playing defensive hockey???

Krueger has no idea what he's doing.

pretty much yeah

hawks won faceoff, hall dived below the goal line, took the puck, peeled back up the right half wall, fired a pass across the circles, whitney one timed from the left dot

If we have ONE member of the media with balls to ask him this, you might get some answer.

But, we don't.

Potter played an epic game. He was just a tower of strength all game long. Good on him.

The Nudge may not have near as many points as we all want but the kid is our best defensive player. That is quite remarkable. He is one special kind of player.

Gutsy win even though it was as nerve wracking as it could possibly be.

Guys needed a win. Me too.

i hate this "play not to lose" mentality

also this wasn't the greatest game for the oil. nice early offensive explosion but again, defensive breakdowns and they got away with a few plays that could have been called penalties that weren't.

entertaining game though. THIS is what the nhl should be like. Fast paced and chances back and forth. i love this type of game. Keeps you on the edge of your seat.

I won't knock a win but let's just say I'm glad CBJ won today and am keeping tabs on the SJ-COL game.
