The Canucks are in a tailspin

If the result today holds up, that's 3 wins in their last 12 games. Only 8 regulation wins all season.

This is not acceptable for a team with their talent. It's not even that different from last year's team, and that team won the President's Trophy. Fact is, this is one of the worst slumps this season from any team and I don't see them getting out of it unless serious changes are made. The core looks as lifeless as I've ever seen it.

Having Mason Raymond as your second line C sure doesn't help

They actually have decent offensive talent but I don't get Vigneault's system.

They play like they are a Nashville or a Minnesota who don't quite have the top end talent and need to play safe, boring hockey if they want to be successful.

We are a one line team with elite goaltending. Goaltending has only been above average this season, thus the results you see.

Boohoo. Retool and come back hard next year. If we can lose at least two of Luongo, Ballard and Booth by next season we'll be in good shape to add some talent.

What is going on with Kassian? After starting so great he only has 8 points.

Gillis should have traded Luongo to shore up other areas. When you have at least 4mil in goaltending sitting on your bench every game, that's just bad asset management.

they have won Presidents trophy in the past because they play in a weak division...point total was inflated...

Weird that some teams play defense, isn't it?

Not playing with the Sedins. Looking like a 3rd line grinder at best.

What's wrong with Vancouver? Same as what's wrong with Washington. They overreacted to a playoff series loss and attempted to change the team's identity when it didn't need changing.

Trade a goalie (either one) and theyll get a great piece(s) in return. That will help them get back to being dominant. Any team with Sedins, Kesler, Edler and Luongo wont be bad for long

He's a streaky player.

He played in AHL during the lockout, so he hit the ground running.

Played with the Sedins.

Might have been inflated but not the reason we won two President Trophies ...

Already two attempts to spin this into a Hodgson thread.

The Canucks are not that talented. They work hard but there is no finish. There is no finish because there is no talent.

Canucks miss Ryan Kesler, especially on their special teams . The Canucks are noticeably weaker without him.

I am also seeing that our defense is over rated.

Canucks without kesler are simply average.

Kesler with a broken foot had like 6 points in 7 games this year
