I can't picture the Vikes being a big draw for those FA's. Sure you could pay them a ton of money to get their attention, and then you remind them that Ponder or Webb is their QB throwing to them and they will go elsewhere.

Besides, Wallace is becoming a Dolphin. YEAAAAAAH BUDDY!

@JayGlazer: Seattle sends this years first round pick and a 7th rounder as well as a mid-round pick next year for Harvin.
Wow. That...will help.

Beat me to it. The 1st is nice, that will help us fill some holes. I'm pretty sure that gives us #23 and #25. Not bad.

So, draft a WR and a LB in the first, that will help. Add a DT and possibly another WR or QB in the second and third. I'm just going on a limb and assuming we'll be trying to draft a starting QB next year.

@FSNtylermason: With Percy gone, the #Vikings' WRs are: Stephen Burton, Greg Childs and Jarius Wright.

And one of those guys blew out both knees and hasn't even seen a preseason game.

I have no idea how to judge football trades.

What should a ultra talented yet problematic and injury prone wide reciever garner via trade?

I don't think they spend a 2nd on a QB this year. That would just create a circus. I'd rather get Ponder a better team before I'm ready to completely give up on him.

However, if they did want to get a QB, I'd say we could get a pretty good one in the 2nd. The QB's in this draft are a crapshoot.

Im pissed we traded him for a low ass 1st, 3,4, or 5 RD pick next yr.. And a chance to pick up a damn near Mr. Irrelevant?

Really?

And whats the master plan..? To try and sign any of those big 3 WRs and have a very good change that we miss out on all of them?

So garbage. I hate the vikings man.

We Couldve gotten more...

For example

a 1st, 2nd and like a 3rd/4th next yr. Not a damn 7th round pick..

There's no way we could have got more. Most people expected a 2nd AT BEST, maybe a 3rd and 4th...they got a 1st, 7th, and a 3rd/4th next year.

I doubt anyone we can draft in the 1st will get to be as good as Harvin was. I dunno it seems like we didn't want to pay him so we can now get two WR in the 1st.

Man it makes me sad to see him go.
