Any reports of Scouts at Hog games?

Both Morin and Hayes could also be big trade bait in next few weeks as deadline draws near

I agree, they COULD be trade bait. However, I think it is more likely that they are on the Blackhawks next year. They are clearly ready IMO. Then when we lose Bickell, Stalberg, Frolik they will jump in and hopefully replace their productivity.

Rumor has it Stephen Johns will be signing an ATO with Rockford once his season ends and will be signing with Chicago this summer (same thing Jimmy Hayes did).

Quote:
Word out of South Bend, Indiana is that when the Fighting Irish season ends, junior Notre Dame defenseman Stephen Johns will sign an amateur try-out contract with the Rockford IceHogs. This will lead to Johns leaving Notre Dame and turning pro in the fall.
http://thethirdmanin.com/2013/03/11/...or-on-waivers/

Also has notes on Joakim Nordstrom, Mark McNeill, Phillip Danault, Garret Ross and Alex Broadhurst, aswell as Rostislav Olesz and Steve Montador.

Would be great to see them get any. They haven't made the playoffs since 2010.

Guys like Pirri and Morin have never seen playoffs in the pro leagues.

Rockford's defense next year looks a lot better with Johns in the line-up, along with adding Mark McNeill, Phillip Danault, Garret Ross and possibly Kevin Hayes to the forward group.

Lets assume Ryan Stanton, Jimmy Hayes, Ben Smith and Jeremy Morin make the team in some capacity next year. That leaves Rockford with:

Beach - Pirri - St.Pierre
K.Hayes - Danault - McNeill
Ross - Nordstrom - T.Broadhurst
Paradis - Flick - Froese

Dahlbeck - Clendening
Lavin - Johns
Olsen - Lalonde

Hutton
Simpson/Carruth

With the possibility of adding a couple AHL vets.

In this article, scouts re-rank the 2012 draft based on what they've seen so far.

Teuvo moved up to 11th.

still think when all is said and done, Teuvo will rank as Top5 of his draft year.

Any word on Paradis? I've skimmed through this thread but couldn't find anything. Hasn't been playing in a while and I didn't see him on Toledos roster.
