EK has top notch acceleration and he's just as fast with the puck. Karlsson is one of the best if not the best skater, but pure speed goes to others.

Harry Z is up and down, but if he counts, he's the fastest guy in the league, he makes Letang look like he's skating in butter.

Paajarvi is just as fast as Hall if not faster for those that don't watch the Oilers, the kid was considered the fastest player in the 2009 draft by far and has only gotten better since (although the offensive instinct has sadly gotten worse). Straight up speed would be Paajarvi/Hall, Helm, Duchene, Grabner, and Hagelin in no particular order.

Raymond, Hansen, Weise, Lapierre. Haven't seen an opponent this year with a player faster than those guys...

That's because Vancouver plays in the weaker conference. Try having those guys outskate the Eastern teams.

A Raymond vs Bufyglien foot race would be a treat to watch.

Zucker from Minny will get a few mentions once he's played in front of a few more people and starts to pull some minutes. Keep an eye on him next time your team is playing the Wild.

In the league in order

Grabner, Gaborik, Hall, Helm, Cogliano
The NYI played the NYR the other night.
Man Hagelin is friggin fast. I actually thought Gaborik lost a step.
It was clear though who is the fastest skater in the NHL and it wasnt a Ranger

Pretty much this. If we're talking about pure straight line top speed, Karlsson is not in the top 5.

If we're talking about explosive acceleration, I would argue he's #1.

Seeing all these people say Grabner hurts so bad. I loved watching him on Canucks.

I'd say:
Grabner, Raymond, Helm, Hagelin and Cogliano.

Selanne and Gaborik in their younger days would be in there too.

Cogliano
Grabner
Paajarvi
Grabovski
Helm

Those are my top 5. Lombardi when he came to the NHL was freakin quick.

I don't know about the league, but Matt Duchene has some serious speed. I mean, he was fast last year, but this year, he's unstoppable fast Easy top 3 in the west. Grabner's an obvious pick otherwise.
