@TSNBobMcKenzie Hearing from a few sources that the Kings are quietly shopping Conn Smythe winner Jonathan Quick. Checking sources currently

Mikael Samuelsson, Drew Miller and Patrick Eaves are on the trade block. Also shopping picks and mid/low level prospects.

Looking for a veteran 4th line forward, and potentially a top-nine winger.

With C market so thin the Hawks are going forward with plan to tell Patrick Sharp to get his butt back at #2 C spot (You know spot he was in when team won a cup)

Now plan to get a top 6 W to complement Hossa/Sharp 2nd line

D Steve Montador (vet righty) available for teams looking for vet dman

Derick Brassard is close to being dealt. Fedor Tyutin has been dealt pending waiving of his NTC.

RJ Umberger is available for anyone seeking a big bodied winger. Vaclav Prospal could be moved as well, but he has a NMC to deal with. Looking for the highest draft pick I can get in the upcoming draft for Vinny.

HABS ACQUIRE CARON

The Montreal Canadiens have traded defenseman Yannick Weber to the Boston Bruins for forward Jordan Caron.

Both Caron and Weber were in need of a fresh start. Caron, a former 1st round pick, is younger and is also a big size forward. We are confident that he can be a top 9 forward for us in a near future.

Great deal for the Habs; they get size, skill, and a French Canadian player for a good defenceman, but one made expendable through their defensive depth when the likes of Nathan Beaulieu come up.

Well done on both sides, but I give this one to the Habs.

UPDATE

The following players are available for futures :

F Michael Ryder (won't come cheap)
F Travis Moen
F Colby Armstrong
D Tomas Kaberle
* David Desharnais could also be available but he is more likely to be traded during the offseason. With that being said, he could be traded at the trade deadline for the right offer.

We are confident with our team and we don't have many needs. We would like to add a big 4th line center who can win faceoffs. We could also use a depth forward that can drop the gloves (and play hockey).

Picks and prospects can be used but only for the right player(s).

PM!

For teams needing a top 6 winger, the Sabres have Vanek/Pominville/Stafford available.

Adding Depth

The Boston Bruins confirm. Yannick adds some depth to our backend. He has the tools there to be an effective player and we will give him chances to reach that potential in the remaining months of the season.

Minnesota has acquired Mason Raymond from the Vancouver Canucks in exchange for Kyle Brodziak and Zenon Konopka.

We are willing to move Mathew Dumba for an impact player. Devon Setoguchi and Josh Harding remain avaliable, as well as PM Bouchard.

We're firmly entrenched on the couch, catching up on Game of Thrones.

As such, we're willing to talk trade. When I can pause. Awesome show.

The "D"s Head To Boston

Derek MacKenzie
Derick Brassard

Ryan Spooner
Seth Griffith
4th BOS 2013

The Boston Bruins are happy to add Brassard and MacKenzie to our team. MacKenzie will add some grit to our 4th line meanwhile Brassard will give us some good depth down the middle. It was hard to move Ryan and Seth but we the thought of adding Brassard to our lineup was too hard to ignore.
