Doubtful... unless Osheaga has a 'Blast From The Past' Day

It says a lot about the current state of the music scene when The Cure, New Order and Depeche Mode (gig announced today - Bell Centre on Sept. 3) create more buzz than Mumford & Sons, Macklemore, Vampire Weekend, etc.

Speaking of The Smiths:

Johnny Marr just released a new record. Wouldn't mind to see his name added to the lineup.

Don't know what year it was, but there was one band added later and was one of the headliners. They had to change posters and stuffs. I hope Green Day will be added to the line-up.

Alt-J are pretty meh live.

I'm excited. Probably going to go at least one day. Some I really want to see are The Cure, Mumford and Sons, Lumineers, Flogging Molly, Silversun Pickups, Gaslight Anthem, Father John Misty, Jimmy Eat World,
Grouplove, Frightened Rabbit, The Head and The Heart, Hollerado, Frank Turner and Shovels and Rope.

Half of them I've already seen but they were really good.

There are still 20 bands to announce with possibly a few not-quite-headliners-but-close types. But continue with the knee-jerk reaction

Yes, Café Campus. True the sound sucks there, but still, Alt-J didn't blow my mind.

I really want Death Grips to play the same day as The Cure, and see the disgust on the faces of the 30+ years old waiting for The Cure later that day

Gramatik, Disclosure and Valaire are interesting.
Don't really care for the washed up 80's veterans and the sea of one-hit-wonder, guitar toting, hipster pop-rock bands.

Haha. I managed to catch them live when they played here earlier in the year. Great show.

Have the days been announced yet or no?

Why would 30+ year olds be disgusted by Death Grips? I don't get it.

i'm talking about the 30+ year olds 80's new wave/post-punk fans, I don't think they're Death Grips target audience, no offense if you're a 30+ year old who loves both band

haha yeah I'm 34. I wouldn't say I love Death Grips, but I've seen way crazier stuff than those guys. I was just messing with you.
