Hoegaarden & Hacker-Pschorr are pretty awesome too.
Carlsberg Red is a beaut but impossible to find unless you want a keg.
Carlsberg red?!? Game Changer. I will hunt this down.
I liked Stella as well. She never cheats on you and is always there when you come home.
But I spent a year in England recently and it is considered a bottom of the barrel beer. So I drank alot of it. Now here's a true story.. A guy I knew in England (he was a bit stuck up.. Wine guy) went on a date with this girl to a nice restaurant. Afterward he came back to the pub I was at and said he was turned off because "she ordered a pint of Stella..." And proceeded to explain to me that "she atleast could have ordered a pint of Budweiser because Budweiser is classy"
Most people in the pub agreed.
I flipped my **** told England they are wrong. And came back to the holy land of beer.. Canada. Honestly this is a true story.. honestly.. In England Stella is trash... Budwieser is class.

in england, stella is knows as the 'wife-beater'. it's not usually drank by... classy people if you know what i mean
You can always sign a current contract, the window to start signing futures began on March 1st.
After looking at various NCAA late season signings in recent years, I have to concede you appear to be correct on this. For some reason I thought that once the player is signed, the team then decides whether to use him in the NHL late in that season (burning year 1 of the ELC) or they do not play him and the contract ''slides'' a year if he doesn't play in the NHL to end that season.
I would also sign him to a future contract starting next season knowing this, but put him in Hamilton to finish this year on a tryout.

That would work if you sign a player who just turned 19 to a current season contract in March, try him in the NHL after his junior/NCAA season, and then his contract would "slide" cause he played 3 games.
BTW the reason why he is still in the NCAA it's because he wished to finish his degree before going pro.
Yeah. His degree in leisure studies.
He wants another kick at the National Championship can. I was critical of this previously. But with the way he's performed this year, I'm 100% behind him, and his ridiculous degree.

A degree in communication studies, marketing or political science us still preferable to no degree.
Kristo will be an impact skilled forward for us - NEXT year ......let him earn some stripes in the AHL this season - he will replace Gionta eventually as a scoring forward with speed.
The way he talks about why he likes UND in that documentary, for the crowd, history, banners, etc... I think he'll sign with MTL for the same reasons. And I hope we see him in the big leagues sooner rather than later.
Had this Lagunitas IPA the other day, really good.
I'm still on topic because I managed to not get frostbit
Had this one called Mirror Pond Pale Ale which was fantastic.
I enjoy pale ales with a piece of orange in the summertime, on the patio. Although I would go with a wild ale if the choice was available. god, I love beer and summer.

Never heard of wild ale, what is that like?
Looking forward to 84 degree weather later this week. Will have to crack one of those open
OT: I like beer alot. DArk, Bitter, Red, Amber, Wheat, Blonde, Oak aged.
But for regular drinking.. Molson Dry is well... Dry... Doesn't leave much of a taste in your mouth.
While we're pimping brews in a thread about Kristo, Alexander Keith's red is my personal favourite, goes great with food or by itself, no unpleasant aftertaste either.

Any update on Kristo's situation legally?
I think he would approve.

Steam whistle isn't bad at all. I'm actually not all that picky when it comes to beer. There's only a few I really dislike. Canadian, Boris, and Grolsch are terrible. Walkerville (can't remember which type) is the worst though. We legit put Strawberry Nesquick into it to make it even slightly tolerable.
