confirm wasn't keen on moving Vlasic but this deal blew me out of the water had to it. Very high on Gudbrsnson fits my plan to a tee.

The problem is that FLA 2013 1st round pick will very likely be a top 5 pick.

Our 1st this year likely won't be a top 5 pick since we are selling our future to win now. But after doing some more research, I realized that Nikitin isn't as good as I thought, so it turns out that this was a bad trade for me.

Unless I'm missing something, there's no way the Rangers have that much cap space.

Confirm both deals.

Agreed, don't have time to check but there's obviously a problem there.

And that's good news for the Rangers since the second trade is terribad. Miller by himself was more than enough for a struggling Clowe who is an UFA at the end of the season.

By the powers invested in me, I declare this trade...

VETOED!!!

The 2nd trade is fine, you can barely afford Clowe, but the trade with Edmonton definitely puts you over the cap.

Just a reminder, we trade full season cap hits in this game.
And since the Rangers have 10 d-men on their roster currently (due to injuries), you can remove two of the cheaper guys from your roster, leaving you with $2,844,149 in cap space before your trades.

hold up

Hold up.

First of all, chronologically there is no way you can allow the 2nd trade to happen and veto the first. Does not compute, does not make sense logically. He either spends the capspace on me, or does not at all.

Second of all, IR told Noah Staal is unavailable to him this game by, IE: LTIR. He does not count on the cap. Furthermore, Sauer still has not recovered from post concussion symptoms. He does not count either.

For the purposes of pretty math, that gives him 65 cap spent and about ~5M of capspace. More then enough to fit the FIRST deal, the deal with Edmonton.

Trade Block:
Zack Smith (only for a young, top four defenseman or in a package for a top six powerforward)
Colin Greening (again, will only be dealt for an upgrade)
Peter Regin
Jim O'Brien
Kaspars Daugavins
Ben Bishop

If Staal is out for the season, maybe he shouldn't have him listed on the 1st pairing in the roster thread.

Alright, if Staal and Sauer are considered out for this entire game, then he has $1,369,149 in cap space after his trade with Edmonton.

The trade with San Jose and NY Rangers is vetoed.

We have completed a big trade bringing in an excellent young player, but it is pending the waive of some NTCs.

We still have Danny Briere available. I'm looking for a solid top-4 D-man in return. We will consider offers for Couturier as well.

Still looking to move our depth defenders (will go for 3rd/4th Round picks).

Also looking to move David Jones, we would be willing to retain some salary.

Otherwise, we're pretty happy just waiting until the draft.
