We dodged a bullet, he could only miss 4-5 games.

And this should help him heal up some other bumps and bruises he clearly had.

Doubt it if for that reason alone (due to the alleged timeline). What we need is for Max to heal Diaz and Bourque. Would be the ideal time for Rene to return, but that ain't happening for at least 2 weeks if he's not even skating. F'in colton orr. I realllllly want something horrible to happen to him.

with 10 days, he'd miss only 4 games, maybe 5, so this is great news. I know its only short term, but do we see a Clowe deal soon?

Damn. Separations are worse than dislocations. Hope the ligaments aren't too banged up... I wouldn't be against sitting him for 3 weeks if it allows him to recover fully.

Saw Brandon Prust near #habs locker room. The sling for his left shoulder is already off.

Even Nick Kypreos made a joke about that the other day, he said "I will wait until Dr Mark Rechhi gives his opinion before making a judgment on this injury". I lolled.

#Habs: Rene Bourque a patinée une bonne heure ce matin avec un membre du personnel médical du CH.

Bourque skated with a member of the medical staff for a solid hour this morning.

I thought Diaz was the one who was supposed to return first. Weird.

I saw 10-14 and I feared 10-14 weeks for some reason... don't know why. Thank god it's just two weeks tops. Good news on Bourque too.

#Habs Therrien says Bourque is farther ahead of Diaz in concussion protocol steps, which allowed Bourque to skate today.

Guillaume Lefrançois ‏@GLefrancoisRC
#Habs Therrien dit que Diaz s'entraîne en gymnase. Bourque a patiné pendant le voyage, donc pas sa première fois ce matin

Bourque skated last week. Diaz doing work in the gym.

Now that Bourque started skating do we know about how long it'll take for him to get back?

Skating means nothing until he joins the team and he's symptom-free.

They wouldn't let him skate or excersise if he wasn't symptom free. Both guys must be making good progress.

By symptom-free I mean that if he gets no headaches after skating.
