I think I speak for the men on this forum when I posit that the last thing any normal guy would want to be near is Miss Thompson's ass.

She's the exact type of person one has in mind when thinking of cooties.

Especially considering the Dreds; Rob Ford probably has pretty low standards though.

Thomson is hardly a runway model, but on her worst day she's a better catch than Rob Ford.

Rob is pretty heinous physically himself, but he has the whole wealth, power, and influence thing to fall back on. I agree with you that neither is particularly attractive though... to put it mildly.

Rob was likely intoxicated. Every woman looks better while a man is intoxicated.

From that picture, intoxicated would be an understatement.

Rob Ford is grotesque. Comparing him to Ms. Thomson isn't fair to Ford since it is akin to comparing a baboon to a human. On the ugly scale Ford is into extreme negative range.

Personally I think that dreads on a girl instantly puts her into the minuses too.

I googled this Thomson woman, although I didn't see any pictures of her with dreads. Maybe they were pictures from several years ago or very good publicity shots, but if you saw those two out as a couple not knowing either of them, you'd definitely say he got lucky and hooked above his league.

Case of where there is smoke there is fire with regards to his drinking? A new incident has come to light.

http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toront...ford-gala.html

For the second time in a month, Toronto Mayor Rob Ford’s public behaviour is in question after a story in the Toronto Star claims the mayor appeared intoxicated and was asked to leave a gala dinner on Feb. 23.

The Star reported Tuesday that Ford was asked to leave the Garrison Ball — an annual dinner held at Toronto's Liberty Grand hotel and attended by senior armed forces personnel including Defence Minister Peter MacKay — because organizers were concerned he was impaired.

Some sources who attended the event told the Star that Ford spoke in a rambling, incoherent manner.

The Star story quotes Coun. Paul Ainslie, who confirmed to the newspaper that Ford was asked to leave.

“I urged the mayor’s chief of staff, Mark Towhey, to have the mayor leave the event,” Ainslie told the Star.

The Star story says Ainslie refused to discuss why Ford was asked to leave.

Big difference between a guy with a drinking problem and accusations of sexual assault.

When the guy is one and the same and said drinking problem was likely a factor in the sexual assault I would say it is important to look at.

Ah, the broad was obviously asking for it, walking around in front of Ford being all female and stuff.

The Ford stuff, if true, is sad more than anything. Hope he can get the help he needs.

I don't agree with the witchhunt against him that almost led to his ousting, but really, given these recent public displays, he should resign.

I just want him to broach the topic without saying "Toronto Star".

Rob Ford clearly has no idea most people don't read newspapers anymore. The reason people dislike him has little to do with the Toronto Star's coverage of him (although it has been scathing), he's just a detestable, second-rate human being.

"second-rate human being."??? I think you are seriously overvaluing Ford's rate classification.

At this point, with this story and the story that this thread was originally made for, I think this is just people jumping on the sinking ship for their minute of fame.

Not that Ford's behaviour hasn't deserved it, but I think more stories than not that come out now will be at least partially fabricated.

Still doesn't make it any less fun to watch.
