Potential of young stars

What do you think the potential for Bourque, Keith, Ruutu, Seabrook, Sharp and Vandermeer are and what type of players are they (power forward, Offensive d-man, ect.)

Thanks

I only saw like 2 blackhawks games last seson. It seems like you have a good young core.

Seabrook - Better skating, more offensive Aucoin
Keith - Could be Rafalski or Robidas or somewhere in between
Ruutu - Iginla
Toews - I think this kid is the next Sakic
Bourque - Lesser Daze with a normal back
Sharp - Matt Cullen
Vandermeer - Good for 30 points. More mobile, slightly less physical and smaller Andy Sutton

I hope Toews works out and becomes like Sakic or Yzerman. I would hate to see him play 10 years in Chicago and not win a cup and then get traded.

Question is does Bill Wirtz and Co. actually manage to keep that core together? I hope for long suffering 'Hawk fans that they do, because I agree, there are definitely some positives there.

Don't forget about guys like Barker, Bolland and Crawford coming up through the system.

So it looks like the key guys that the hawks will be building around are Barker, Ruutu, Seabrook, Havlat and Toews.

I hope Wirtz dies.

I only saw Toews at the World Juniors but do not see any resemblance. Sakic is one of the highest scorers of all time.

He screams N. Baumgarnter to me. This kid is pathetic in his own end and is a horrible passer. To bad Dollar Bill loves him. I'd personally trade him as fast as I could.

Nolan Baumgartner at least has good offensive skills. Keith is more like Stephane RObidas to me. Undersized with great wheels but not much results to show for it.

He didn't look like Sakic to me in that tourney either. But that was a handful of games where "team" came first.

I don't even think Sakic looked like Sakic when he was 19 years old.
