I was almost confused because I thought the game was tomorrow. Turns out I was right.

Hilarious GDT though, it deserves to be a day early.

This was the bloody face game for Weber last time. I'm hoping this one is as fun to watch. Also Klune is without the cage this go around.

As much as I hate the NBC broadcasts, I would love to have that tonight just to have the reporter between the benches telling all that is said

Excellent GDT; GJ Top 6.

Put a streak together please; we have DAL, a struggling VAN, CGY, EDM, CBJ, CGY, CBJ, EDM, PHX, and COL in order. There is no reason we can't win ~8 of these...if we continue averaging less than 2 goals per game there is also no reason can't lose ~8 of these.

Excited for this game; do work!

@JoshuaCooper: Lines shaken up a bit. Based on morning skate rotations, could be between 23, 13 and 24 for a forward spot. 18 appears to be back

It's funny that Boychuk is looking to be possibly sidelined when he has looked pretty good. Butler hasn't done too much other than take penalties and draw them. Especially funny that he is being picked over Yip. Oh well, looks like Trotz is playing favorites again.

Yeah cooper followed that up by saying it looks like Boychuk is the odd man out..which I don't understand.

Also said Hali earned his way back to Nashville by the way he played in Milwaukee.

This is why I am beginning to think he should go, the fact he'd rather put in veteran players than try something different to win.

I'm far from being in the "fire trotz" crowd, but this move is infuriating.

Thats what Trotz is best at...playing favorites. Sometimes it seems as if he doesn't really care if we win or lose, only that the guys he likes plays and the ones he doesnt like that day/week/ever sit miserably in the press box.

I'm predicting a 2-1 loss tonight.

I'd say it will be much much worse than that. Probably something like 5-1 loss and that is if Nashville gets lucky. I see a 2% chance of a goal being scored for the Preds.

Boychuk, Yip, Halischuk... they're all irrelevant unless the big boys show up. Fisher, Erat, etc. need to earn their paycheck. Swapping out a 4th liner for a 4th liner is likely to make little difference.

In more positive news, Weber has been scoring at a point per game pace over the past 30 days. Looks like his early season slump is long gone.
