Fitzpatrick was the worst starting QB the Bills ever had, and whoever signed him to that asinine contract should be let go just for that.
Thanks goodness the pain of watching him try to throw downfield is over!
The worst quarterback in the league doesnt lead his team to the playoffs. Not to mention he won the Heisman.
Kid gets a bad wrap because the New York Jets organization is a complete gong show.
He didnt lead them to the playoffs, Prater's golden leg did. He is possibly the worst active quarterback in the nfl unless jamarcus comes back but even jamarcus could throw. Do what the other 32 NFL teams are doing and just walk away from this wreck.
Letting levitre walk is why we can't make the playoffs
Yes, yes it is. Yet another drafted Bill that we get to watch have a productive career elsewhere. Everyone talks about how bad the drafting is, but drafting means jack squat when you keep players like McKelvin and lose players like Levitre.
Glad that Fitz is gone. Hopefully it means we're drafting a young QB to develop.
You know how much revenue it would drive into Buffalo? Plus i think hes a good quarterback. Im obviously one of the only people. Give him a chance and i think this kid makes the best of it. I mean he was allowed 8 pass attempts last season and completed 6 of them. whats the worst thing that happens? Buffalo ends up with the first pick in 2014?
I don't get the hype on Tebow. Why would it drive so much revenue into the region especially if the team wasnt winning? I think hes a good guy eventhough I don't per se agree with his personal views for myself. But I don't get the drool effect. He's not a star by any means given his "playing ability"
Not even the least valued position on the OL, let alone an entire football team.
And it's not just about Levitre. The Bills have been losing the talent that they actually manage to develop for over a decade now.
The problem with that statement is the "developing talent" part. They haven't had much talent to begin with.
Starting with the 2010 draft, the best players picked are:
2010: Spiller, Carrington, Troup
2009: Wood, Byrd, Levitre, Maybin
2008: S.Johnson, McKelvin, Bell
2007: Lynch, Poz, Edwards, Wendling
2006: K.Williams, Whitner, Butler
2004: Evans, Losman
2003: McGahee, McGee, Kelsay, Crowell, Haggan, Aiken
2002: J.Reed, Wire, Bannan, Denney
Looking at that, how many quality players did they actually let go (without getting something in return via trade)? Levitre, Whitner, Poz, arguably Bell. The reason the Bills suck is because they make way more picks like James Hardy and Mike Williams (especially in higher rounds) than impact players.
