Don't buy packs. No sense in spending coins unless it's on something you're going to use. I pretty much only spend coins on contracts and specific players that fit my team.

I have two teams that I play with. One of them is obviously better than the other. I play my better team three games for every one game that the worse team gets. When you do that you don't need to buy fitness cards. It's an investment but it will save you a ton of coins in the long run.

I'm playing in the fourth year of my Career mode with Real Madrid and I was playing against Liverpool in the Copa Europe Final. It was 1-1 in the 120th minute and I got the ball into their box and Lucas Leiva knocks it back to his goalkeeper and the keeper watches the ball go right past him and into the net to give me the 2-1 win. It was pretty funny.

I accepted the position with Suomi today. Proceeded to shut out Russia 3-0.

I like how FIFA allows you to work with the international club as well as the career mode. Barnsley, promoted to the EPL, is 4th place, and Finland is off to a strong start in world play.

Nice but Jenkinson chose to play for England in real life

Career mode winter update potentials are up on fifafanatic.com if anyone's interested. It seems like EA limited the growth of young players a bit. No one turns world class in 2 seasons anymore.

The fact that Serge Gnabry remained 58 (I think) is really sketchy. If Nick Powell is a 65, Gnabry deserves a 63.

I think Powell's overall got raised because he has played in a few PL and Champions League matches and scored a goal. His potential is still too low for my liking tbh. Gnabry does grow to 66 after one season though.

What's more surprising is Coutinho having the fifth highest potential among midfielders. This guy has been injured and inconsistent for the past few seasons. Got EPL-bumped I guess.

I have now made Barnet into a 4 star team. I have 4 players who with a potential around 85-95, plus another 4 who i think have the same potential. They i picked up as FA. One of them, an english CB named Vardy, even plays for the english national team. He is 19 years old, 78/79 rated and an absolute beast. I will have a KILLER team in a season

I really recomend that you scout Japan and African nations, they have so many great youths. I got 2 88-94 potential players from Japan with my 1 star scout. Japan is so awesome.

I have quite a few young high potential players on my team but I can never get them enough playing time to raise their overall usually. I promised really good players on my team important and crucial 1st team player roles when I bought them so they get upset if I sit them for too long in place of my young players. Also usually when I try to loan out these players, nobody comes at me. I guess because they're all 17-18 years old.

I hated Vidic, so slow. Aguero is nice, especially beside Messi.

Should expand my networks outside the UK

Oh yes. I only try diffrent countries at the moment, never just had one scout in one place. Think i have had most sucess in Japan and Germany. I send a 5 star scout to Brazil recently, and another 5 star coach too Switzerland, Brazil should have some sweet youths

Recently bought Cavani, best decision I ever made. Such a beast, especially in the air.

I dont mind losing but I mind losing because the game forces you to lose. This scripting bs needs to go away, you just now when its coming, the helpless feeling of "yup, EA is about to screw me."

**** EA, fix this **** for 14

Bundesliga is great.

Go with Huntelaar and a 4-2-3-1. Huntelaar = unstoppable.

I never see anyone use him. Always Reus up front for his speed.
