I thought about him too when I was looking over bottom 6 rentals the other day. No idea what the Caps will want but seems like a decent enough idea if the Caps decide to move him along.

Yeah, the Pens actually have like 8 or 9 million in cap space right now. This has nothing to do with Crosby or Malkin making big money.

Does Dallas have any interest in Deryk Engelland? Him + 3rd for Morrow?

Ebbett or Guilliuame Desbiens.

They are your guys and they can be had for the low low price of a late draft pick (Lets say a 6th or 7th), or a pair of Pens winter classic jerseys (both from seperate years) One with Crosbys signature, one with Geno's signature.

And that's my best offer.

Oh man. I remember back in summer how excited some Pens fans were to be getting Glass. Yeah, he throws the body, and he will live forever in my heart as part of our GST line. But I wondered wtf a contender like Pittsburgh was doing signing him.

I have such a soft spot for Craig Adams. Were I in charge of the Canes I would give you a younger grinder with more upside (Drayson Bowman) just for Adams' grit and playoff experience.

Best offer yet. Somewhat redundant with Vitale there though.... But I suppose we could put him on the wing....

This is done. No take backs. Hendricks would be perfect.

Hendricks actually has some offensive skill too. So 4th line of Hendricks Vitale Armstrong, and all we have to give up is Tanner Glass and a late round pick! Done and Done! Someone contact Ray.

Tim Jackman in CGY would be a great addition to the 4th line.

I also like that Colby for Glass trade. Id be tempted to play Colby in TKs spot on the 3rd

Ya I was thinking Hendricks as a winger with Vitale. Watched a lot of Pens games this year and they could use some more sandpaper on the bottom lines. Matt Kassian went for a 6th, but he's also signed thru next year so I think a 7th would be fair for a 4th line UFA. Possibly a 6th because Hendricks is the better overall player.

6th. Done. So why won't the Caps sign him? Seems like a good guy in the room, plays his tail off every shift, will fight, and has some offensive skills to boot. Seems like a perfect 4th liner.
