100% not his fault. Turnover on the play automatically not the goalies fault.

The goalie can come up with that save though. That' what they are payed for. Even when turnovers happen.

Phoenix and super elite goalie Mike Smith are about to get underway with LA. For those who are into great goaltending. Jonathan Quick's not too shabby himself.

I think your sarcasm meter is off, Prongo.

Less often if Bryz isn't the goalie, though. That's the thing.

I guess you're just gonna ignore that shootout stat I showed you, concerning how goalies deal with 1 on 1 situations. Not surprisingly, Bryz is ranked near the bottom.

another AWFUL turnover at the blue line ..... PHX guy standing in the crease all alone ... slams in the rebound vs LAK

So the Perry hit...clean or dirty? It was definitely late, but I'm having trouble telling if he hit Zucker with his elbow or his shoulder...

I only got one look, I thought it was elbow. I'd need to see more replays.

Late, blind-side hit on a vulnerable player (my POV from a single, quick view). I think he gets a Shana-call.

To no one's surprise, ANA's Corey Perry has a telephone hearing with NHL on Wednesday. That means suspension can't be more than 5 games.
Guess I have my answer...

Noticed something funny regarding the Flyers the other day... I was looking up Richards' stats on the Flyers website and came across something peculiar.

Prior to the Richards' trade, Richie's name on the Flyers website was always listed as "Mike Richards". After the trade, they changed it to "Michael Richards" aka making reference to the guy who played Kramer on Seinfeld.

Someone in the Flyers' organization attempting to troll Richie?

For reference:
Richards' player page now: http://flyers.nhl.com/club/player.htm?id=8470617

Richards' player page as of June 30, 2011 (right after trade):http://web.archive.org/web/201106300...htm?id=8470617

Richards' player page as of Jan 20, 2011 (last crawl of the site prior to the trade): http://web.archive.org/web/201101201...htm?id=8470617

We will probably never see suspensions of more than 5 games, unless it's something absolutely insane. 6 games or more means it goes to committee, and why would Shanahan want to be second guessed?

It's because they think his motto was also "here's to feeling good all the time"

Imagine his post game interviews if he was our coach this season. They would be epic. This would be some of our players

Quick, eh? Oddly appropriate name for a goaltender. Never heard of him. Is he any good?

What would you rather be, Quick or Fasth?
