The team that would make the most sense for Miller would be St Louis.

It'd be a sad day when Miller leaves. Drafted all the way back in 99. Watching him at MSu growing up, I think Miller could have been much much more. He had hof potential as a prospect and while he became a top 10 goalie he didn't become that perennial Vezina candidate we thought he would.

He's a ****ing headcase. If he wasn't insane, he'd be a Vezina candidate annually. But between being cranky and not being able to be consistently dominant - for whatever reason - he has left us wanting a bit more.

Granted, he's obviously good enough to win a Cup with a team in front of him. But he won't win you one by himself like Lundqvist could.

Mad they get.

Hmm, could it be they are using the "sinus infection" to get a hard look at Enroth before pulling the trigger on moving Miller?

I can believe Miller wanting out of here.

The goalie market has been dry all year from everything you read. I don't see him being dealt during the season. At all.

I wouldn't........Philly would need to add but I'd prefer, IF Myers were to be dealt, to send him to the other conference

Last I checked, Lundqvist hasn't won a Cup by himself or the Rangers. Could be argued the Rangers have had a better roster in front of him than Miller too.

I'd rather keep Miller. Not looking forward to 3 years of Leggio or Enroth or whatever vet we can pull off the scrap heap.

I agree but the Sabres must be able to convinve Miller to sign an extension this offseason because he has only 1 yr left

You needed to check to see if the Rangers won a Cup with Lundqvist? Yikes.

He's a better goaltender than Miller. That's my only point with that reference.

As for the bolded? No you can't. At least I don't agree. Let us use 2006... Rangers D corps that lost to us in the playoffs:

Rozsíval, Malik, Pock, Rachunek, Ozolinsh, Mara, Strudwick, Girardi, Tyutin

Abysmal. That needs more Doug Janik

No.For as bad Myers has been, if he re-reaches his potential he is a franchise dman.Couturier has not shown 1st line ability. He's been abysmal this year Couturier.I'm glad he fell back to earth because last year when discussing his value he was "worth" more then Vanek etc because he was slightly above average right out of the draft (vastly overrated more like it)

Seems like when 18-19 year olds have an average to slightly above average season that their trade value is ballooned far to much on these boards.Chris Gratton after his rookie year at 18 looked like a perennial all-star, and we all know how he turned out.

"Last I checked" is a common expression. I doubt he checked anything.

Fact is, you said Lundqvist could win a Cup by himself. So where's his Cup victory or even a finals appearance? Nonexistent. Of course, you're right that he's better than Miller. He's a top three goalie.

I know, I was being a *****.

Point is that it is, in my eyes, easy to see that Henke is a better goalie, capable of doing certain things Miller isn't.

I think there are better guys out there we should target over Couturier.

If we move Miller and Pominville I want back a Colin Wilson-type player and a solid goaltender.

And I also wont to add speed as a weapon to our roster. Hall, Grabner or Hagelin come to mind. All three of them can produce there chances out of nowhere just because of their speed.

I also would deal Stafford at deadline for as much as possible (possibly a late first round pick?)

Leino gets his last chance as a sabre because of his horrible contract. If he plays good, deal him as soon as possible. If he remains sucking, waive him or buy him aut and callup girgs.

Next year:

Vanek - Hodgson - Armia
Leino - Wilson - Ennis
Foligno - Grigorenko - Grabner
Tropp - Ott - Kaleta

Weber - Ehrhoff
McNabb - Myers
Sekera - Regehr
Pysyk

Enroth
solid goaltender
Maarakov

Miller won't be moved, he'll be re-signed. Darcy would not trade Vanek, Pom, Hodg, Myers, Miller or Ennis. However if Darcy were to be replaced I'd say only Hodg, Vanek and Myers are safe.
