Not sure, Isles twitter feed did say he hurt it during the Pittsburgh game so I don't think so.

I see many people calling for Ullstrom but do we really want Cappy to ruin him completely??? I say let him stay down in BP and by what they said on why he was sent down does it magically mean he will get more ice time? The problem once again is a coaching issue and i think Ullstrom and us here at HFB would be better served by letting him finish out in BP. JMHO.

^ This. Maybe the send down shook his cobwebs, although I think it is a matter of Cappy sending mixed messages or unclear demands.
If we can't understand Cappy why would we think a 23 year old Swedish kid can?

I'm pretty sure he had a solid season in Sweden last year and was expected to be on the opening night roster had he not gotten injured.

wow this hurts, Grabner had been playing great...

With Ullstrom down, I hope we see Nino brought up because both Aucoin and Boulton in the lineup doesn't sound too good...

I think fans would freak out like they did with Comeau but if we lost Bailey to waivers (doubt it would happen) it wouldn't break my heart at all...

I think his trade value is pretty friggin low right now...

I've shopped him on other boards and I think the best offer i've gotten is a pair of used panties from Pam Anderson...but it was during her period and last week...not even Baywatch years...

Interesting... I thought we were done with Big Joe this year.

Please don't play like Kyle I lost my balls Okposo. I really can't handle that again. Go out there, take names, check the **** out of everything that moves, and generally play like a bull who sat on a cactus.

Joensuu, even though he didn't score much, HIT and SKATED.

Looking at the numbers, he did far, far, far better than Nino/Niño/useless lop/whiner did his first shot. Now factor what he did in with Eoropean PRO'S.

Joensuu EARNED his shot this year. I'd, after looking at the SABRmetrics numbers, LOVE to see JJ with Reasoner and Grabner.

I was never impressed with Joensuu. Maybe his game got better, but I doubt it.

He is traveling with the team on the trip so you'll get a chance to find out.

Funny thing about that guy. He had great size, decent skater, okay puck skills, didn't get much done on the ice. He had some great numbers in Europe and he plays an NHL style game so hopefully he matured and got his game together.

The trouble with most players is that they can't be effective in an offensive role in the NHL without significant adjustments. The physical play, size of the players, the limited time and space make it a really tough adjustment. So most offensive players struggle initially, unless they are exceptional (and that's rare).

The best path is to play pro hockey outside the NHL (AHL or Europe) and develop strength and learn to play well without the puck, learn to win battles against adults that are much stronger than you and then come prepared to play a bottom six role really well AND THEN get a chance in the top six and don't look back.

This is where Nino was set-up to fail. He missed all that important stuff and he simply wasn't good enough with the puck to be valuable in the top six. No man's land. Not good.

Me neither. The recent word from observers is he picked up his physical game in a big way so I am curious to see how big of a change it really was. If he did use his body the way he should have first time up he may have stayed. We all know how that ended.

Im impressed it is a new body in the lineup! Look at us, trying to develop some competition in the ranks. Maybe if we start moving some guys in and out of the lineup, make some call ups, it might spur someone to back check...

I don't mind Joensuu playing actually. I think he could end up being a decent NHLer on the 4th line for us. He has good size and still has time to improve. Happy that we aren't going to be playing both Boulton and Aucoin in the end that's the most important

I also feel that I come here to learn and ask questions because i never played the sport i love so much and i need help with many issues because of that reason. Hopefully i will just keep on keeping on and try to gather as much info as a can so i can become more well rounded.
