Nice friggin goal.

All that other skills competition-shootout crap can kneel before a Stanely Cup final goal like this.

I noticed that, too. I assumed it was just my imagination.

It's pretty clear I think. His head bobbles. Unless that's from the fact that he lost his mind for a second before missing the empty net.

Here's a couple beauties from Ryan Malone. Not 'best of all time' but at least honorable mentions....

In this one at :50 and 3:20

Who is that? Bryan Smolinski?

You're gonna have to fast forward to 17:14 of this video to see my vote for best NHL goal ever:

mms://wm.nhl.na-central.speedera.net/wm.nhl.na-central/comp/feature/top10_goals_03_04_700.wmv

(copy and paste that into yuor browser)

If anyone has a video of just that goal, I'd be greatful.
Thanks for the vid. I thought the majority of their Honorable Mentions were better than their actual top 10.

Not crazy about their choices. In my opinion, The Schaefer and Afinogenov goals should have been 1 and 2 (in whichever order), and after that the crop gets thin. Not a great year for highlights.

I'm partial to this one: http://youtube.com/watch?v=nkukawQGM90
Johnathan Cheechoo between the legs in the playoffs.
