Seriously, Shannahan really has something against us this year. Nothing on Stoll or Torres, but Perry gets 4 games? Not a good decision imo.

But, but it was ALL Cam's fault he got hurt . Stoll only grabbed his jersey to counteract the momentum of his forearm driving Cam's face into the boards.

Whatever. It is what it is. To be honest I'm going to be excited to see how our team performs without Perry for a couple games. A preview of the future maybe?

Typical of the league. It should be ashamed of itself for its highly inconsistent discipline.
It is not that hard to develop guidelines and apply them evenly to all teams and all players. Apparently that is just not going to happen now or ever.

With all the other decisions that have been made, I'd actually like to see Perry exercise the new right to take this to an arbitrator. He deserved 4, but others have as well and didn't get it.

It really is. But you read the main board thread and you see the intelligence level of the fanbase and you realize why it can be like that.

Eh corey perry isnt going to find much sympathy from western conference fans.

Being a Hart trophy winner, 2x western conference goal leader, a guy that likes to play on the edge, notice a lot of the eastern conference team fans are okay with the hit and its mostly western conference fans asking for perrys head.

That is not entirely accurate. Wild had an optional practice, which Zucker did not attend. He skated afterwords, very lightly without gear on.

I think the fear with a lot of the concussions is that the symptoms do not present themselves until days after the hit.

^^correct, i have had a few concussions in my life time(hockey/football related) and on a couple i didnt realize it till a few days later.

I only managed to catch the highlights of this game - how did we play? Did anyone stand out? Also how did Getzlaf look and did Allen look alright after missing 5 games with the flu?

i honestly didnt no allen was playing until you said that lol.... so i guess thats a good thing.

Cogliano had a great game, he was probably the stand out.

Also how many times has bobby ryan been robbed this season?
