Just imagine Larry's line getting consistent minutes on the PP instead of the clown Gionta.
Eller, Ryder and Galchenyuk on the PP?

Eller is just getting better and better. I don't know WTF MT has done with this kid but he is the big cente that we've been looking for. He's a bit too much of a shooting centre, needs to use his linemates better but man he is a beast.

Price let in a really lousy goal but was solid the rest of the way and in the shoot-out.

Good win by the Habs. We are now .500 against our own division and 3 pts up on the Ruins again.

Marky and Subban both played over 30 minutes. Good thing they have 2 days off now - especially Markov.

Larry learnt his lesson with the over exuberant celebrations lmao. Nothing for first star this year after all the teasing his teamates gave him last year

I'm okay with tonight's result.. The Habs get 2 points and the Sens get 1 to go ahead of the Leafs.

What else is there to say about Eller. Great game from him tonight. Playing with so much confidence this year and looking great.

I'll repeat what has already been said many times: Eller was amazing tonight.

I wasn't a believer, but I think he plays like a first-line player and with a bit more maturing, he'll be even more amazing for us.

Not the greatest of wins, but it was a rather entertaining game.

I really hate Chris Neil but I have to admit, he plays some really important minutes for the Sens.

Best game of the year for Eller. Just an incredible game from him. Maybe the best game of the year for ANY Hab.

Loved; Subban, Eller (1st star), Gallagher, Desharnais, Markov, and Galchenyuk tonight.

Thought they were by far the best players on the ice tonight for our team.

Emelin, Dumont, and Gorges had a quietly solid night as well.

Great way to cap off a lackluster game for the Habs.

Eller was best Hab tonight. Strong game through and through. The youngsters got the job done tonight while the veterans were rather quiet.

He's playing better than Plekanec at this point.
Pleks is playing much harder minutes than eller or DD, though. I don't, however, think it would be an awful idea to start seeing what Eller could do against some top opposition.

Subban had a bad game in the defensive end, especially 1st half of the game, but he still had a big positive impact.

Scary to think how good the Sens will be with their 3 best players.

And to think Eller was a healthy scratch to begin the year.

Now that's some mental fortitude. Great attitude.

So, Eller is pulling a Pacioretty. Quiet early seasons only to bust out when he got some confidence. Now, hopefully, no giant defenseman will run him into a stanchion and take him off for a few months.

Credit where it's due. Eller probably would have quit playing professional hockey and taken up his real passion, baking, if it wasn't for Therrien.

Blues fan here. I've loved watching you guys this year. Started watching for Galychenyuk and found myself watching you guys more and more. Loving Eller's play, in hindsight the Halak trade was good but man would we be set with him in our center depth. Glad to see you guys at the top of the East. Congrats!

Galchenyuk - Eller - Dumont were by far our best line. Great work by them.

4th line got involved for a change.

Pacioretty - DD - Gally has sort of gone stale.

Some of the bad in this game:

- ANOTHER 2 goal lead blown. I've lost count, but we must be at around 8 now. Contenders just don't blow 2 goal leads at this rate.

- The penalty kill appears to be struggling once more. The Alfredsson goal is unforgivable, you can't allow him that much time and space with seconds left.

- Why are we so awful 4 on 4? We never score and we get scored on way too often. Granted, that was an awful softy allowed by Price on that 4 on 4. Those are the goals he has to stop giving up to be in the top 3-5 among goalies.

- Those 3rd period PPs were not good enough. Yes, they had already scored 2, but at least generate momentum if you aren't going to score.

Wow for once we seem to have an offensive C with size!
Thank you Gauthier for keeping Price over Halak!
