Terrance Knighton, 6'3 335 pound defensive tackle from Jacksonville, signs with Broncos on 2-year deal

Love what the Broncos are doing so far.

I love the Knighton signing. If you want big fat DT who clogs things, Knighton is it.

Avril $7.5M/yr. to Seattle. With Kruger at $8M/yr Dumervil has to finally be realizing he needs to come down significantly doesn't he?

ugh really did not want Cromartie. He's the first guy I give a minus.

The dude can't even read on a high school level.

I don't understand this one. There were better corners out there.

He's still young enough that he can maybe recapture some of what made him a Pro Bowler with the Cardinals.

And playing alongside and learning from Champ Bailey can't hurt either.

Nuggies have been killing everyone not named Memphis, San Antonio and Oklahoma City lately. It's nice to have a couple teams that are so damn good(Nuggies and Broncos).

Gotta think the Broncos are near done in FA unless they get some special teamers or a safety (possibly even a backup QB too? But I think we'll take one in the last rounds of the draft).

What do you guys think about moving Tony Carter to safety now that we have Cromartie?

Check out this mock. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/0...n_2874739.html

I don't believe teams will take all these QB's in the first round, but if they do the Broncos could see some talent drop to them.

I'd like to move Carter to another team. I'm not a fan.

I don't mind Cromartie. I think they really did well here. I'm still worried about a big RB who can pass block, and a WR who can stretch the field, but all in all, they did pretty well here.

What about Trindon Holliday or Andre Caldwell? Not sure but Fox didn't use either much at all last season on offense.

I think Turner and Jackson fit the bill here, and the RB demand is going dry so teams (maybe including the Broncos) are going to wait for the price to go down.

I'd personally rather have Turner than Jackson - for the exact reason that I think he's a much better pass blocker. In 3rd and 4-5 yard situations, Turner's a threat to run between the tackles and also to provide superior pass blocking. I'm actually surprised they haven't been rumored after him yet. Maybe they're waiting to see how much Green Bay throws at Jackson. I think the big RB free agent signings are done, and now it's a negotiating game to see what guy will take budgeted salaries. Green Bay's notorious for waiting out FA's.

Can't Hester pass block? I realize he's pretty much a 3rd down short yardage guy only, but surely he can block.

I suppose if they roll him out in any other situation the opposition will know what's up.

Steven Jackson to the Falcons. Wasn't really expecting that one. I thought they were going to pass the buck to Jacquizz Rodgers

I finally just watched that play - what a whiner. If that was Jordan, not a word would be spoken and the next time Dantay Jones came to town, Jordan would post 50 pts. How many times did Detroit try to take out Jordan and he never complained he just brought it harder to them?

And that is why Kobe will never be Jordan no matter how many rings he wins.

Much as I don't have a grudge against Carmelo for leaving, it was nice to hear that the new Nuggets laid waste to the old Nuggets in humiliating fashion last night. I always thought the acquisition of K-Mart was a gigantic mistake. Much as I loved him as a player, KiKi was and is a horrid GM.

Oy! I was hoping DRC would put a stop to the talk of the Broncos taking a CB in the 1st.
