Just read the Ottawa PGT and the vast majority of their posters are whining about how the Habs were diving all night! I was laughing the whole time. As if there were a more typical go-to complaint about losing a game.

Honestly, other than the Ottawa dive in the first period, were there any dives at all? What the hell are they whining about? Anyways, AMAZING game by PK Subban and Lars Eller.

Copy their posts into Google Translate and translate from 'Bruin' to 'English'. It comes out to, "Montreal remains victorious and my acne swells with envy".

Just came back from the game. What. a. night! Got to admit that the sens have a good team, even with their best players gone. Scary. 3rd goal against us, I thought, was very iffy, that could have went better. Oh well. Habs, Price and our D more than made up for it.

PK and Eller were absolutely on fire.

GG.

Finally, the habs will have some size up the middle with Galchenyuk and Eller.

then you've got the strength on D with Emelin, Subban, Diaz, Gorges, right now and Tinordi, Bealieau, and ellis to replace the aging, the goaltending, the upcoming players in the minors it "looks" (knock on wood) that they'll finally have some long term strength. Last year, while painful, could become a hugely important point for us. As we may not have gotten Galchenyuk without the injuries, who long term will be incredibly important to this team as he'll be the leader of the offensive charge.

Galchenyuk, Pacioretty, Eller, Price, Subban, Gallagher, Tinordi

Such good news to finally have a team be successful while being so young.

Great to see as a habs fan

I really don't agree. The level of discussion here is at a higher level than it's been in years. I can't speak for the real old timers who were here 2004 and before, but I know that when I got here and even a few years before, it was way, way worse.

A quick glance at the site where most of those old classic users currently post at says a lot.

There's a reason we got passed by the leafs board in posts.

They'll poke fun at the Habs small players, then call it a dive when they get knocked down by much bigger players. Logic? That train left a long time ago...

Just got back from the game, some thoughts:

-Eller was on another level, need to see that night-in and night-out

-Galchenyuk played his best game in a while

-Dumont...not completely sold on his NHL upside. He's better than Armstrong though.

-Speaking of Armstrong, I thought he was especially terrible tonight. Killed every chance in the offensive zone as soon as the puck touched his stick.

-Subban was just ridiculous...rounding into superstardom in a hurry.

-Price still needs to be better. He was cheating on the 2nd goal (it was a great shot though, and Alfredsson should've been in the ****ing box anyhow) and the 3rd goal can't go in. It's a good thing we're consistently scoring 3-4 goales because ever since he came back from the flu, he hasn't looked the same.

I guess nobody on their board saw the ottawa player do a perfect Pirouette when Subban hit him.

Ignore the haters. Sit back. Enjoy the Standings.

I feel like internet forums are always down the tube, always up-and-down and always have their fair share of ******** and whiners. I have been stalking this board for years and I don't see any difference from a few years ago.

You just need to know which posters are more knowledgeable, level-headed and mature, while also knowing which ones are bipolar or just like to complain. It's the same everywhere.

That media girl on the left of Eller during his interview wanted his dong so bad. You could see it in her eyes.

Yeah, they were complaining about Gallagher and Desharnais diving and I was in shock. The kid is small and gets knocked down but always gets right back up and keeps going hard. Same with DD. Really shocks me how they complain about something that didn't play a factor at all in the game.

Ha! Yeah, I just find it silly how their go-to complaint is diving after losing the game, only because they heard Claude Julien complain about it. They seemed to think Habs dove on every play. What game were they watching?

Eller was a puck retrieval machine last year, too, but with less offence.

Neil could have been legitimately penalized on every shift.

The habs looked bad on the last two Ottawa goals. Have to clear the zone and take the man.

Can't wait for Diaz to come back. Also can't wait for Ellis or Tinordi to hit the NHL, we need a shutdown guy especially on the PK.

Great post. It's the law of averages. There's bound to be trolls, idiots, and immature people but I've found there are so many brilliant hockey minds on HF. Really nice to have a place to talk to other NHL addicts

Plus, we have the advantage of an ignore button.

As much as I expect Tinordi to be a solid NHLer, I'm excited for Ellis. I think he could be a real gem.
