Ben Eager was put on waivers but I don't think we claimed him.

Either way, I'm glad to hear Pateryn is sent back to Hamilton. He played for only 6:59 tonight against Ottawa.

Bring back Kaberle instead, and he could help us on the PP.

Either Weber/Bourque/Diaz/Prust is ready or we've made a trade/picked someone up off of waivers.

Yeah, I hope Habs haven't claimed him. Oilers fans don't have anything good to say about that guy that's for sure.

Solid and unspectacular is what the habs need, especially on the PK. The sens second goal came after multiple missed clearing opportunities and their third came off weak defence. A solid guy who can hit is what they are missing.

Not sure if Pateryn is that guy but I'm not going to knock lack of flash. Flashy play is already covered.

Could they decide to call up Tinordi?

It would be nice if they called up Tinordi. I'd love to see him get a few games in.

Seemed funny to me that they called Pateryn up to begin with - especially with a healthy Kaberle on the bench.

I figure they wanted to see if Pateryn was ready in case they decide to move Kaberle. Other possibility is that they are worried Kaberle will get injured and not be eligible for a buy out this summer.

Diaz or Weber might be healthy as well

I've read mixed reviews about him on that board. They are complaining that he has not fought since having concussion issues earlier this year. The concussion issue is always a red flag. I liked his speed and toughness but he's never been known as having a good hockey IQ. So, if he isn't hitting or fighting....what would he be doing on our team?

Pateryn looked already but didn't really get much ice-time to prove anything.

He was usually smarter than Bouillon on that pairing though.

They gave him a nice reward for his good showings this past year.

Now he needs to take the next step in Hamilton through the end of this year, over the summer, and early next season.

Played ok, nothing great and no big mistakes either. Glad he was rewarded for his play in Hamilton, happy to see this as a fan from upper management. Work hard you have a shot!

Either Diaz or Weber is ready or a trade is coming...... He will not play Bouillon on his off side to make place for Kaberle.....Got a feeling that Diaz would be in the lineup Saturday

Diaz hasn't even skated yet and there was no report on Weber yet.

Maybe Bergevin did make a claim and needs to make room.

Guess we will find out in 3 hours!

It could just be that we're not playing again until Saturday and they want Pateryn to get playing time with the Dogs since he can go up and down without passing through waivers.

Even Stubbs thinks there's something brewing but I think we'll see another call-up before Saturday's game. Maybe Pateryn again but maybe they'll want to get a look at Tinordi, too.

Pateryn hasn't played as well since being sent down, I could see him being one of the call ups once the Dogs season is over but I'd be surprised if he gets the call over Tinordi if they were to call someone up.
