Gonna be a tough game. Babcock was furious after the game against the Flames last night.

If the Oilers can stay out of the box and keep the high tempo game going, rolling those 3 scoring lines we should give the Wings a tough game. Hopefully Hemsky is feeling better with his flu bout and nobody else is suffering. On the other hand, hopefully Howard is still feeling his and we see Gustavvson too :p

Need a big game out of our usual suspects. Hopefully Whitney and Petry keep up their good play of late and keep the bone headed stuff to a minimum, Detroit also won't have the benefit of the Joe Louis ref factor either. Maybe we'll draw a PP this time.

Detroit doesn't scare me like they used to. They do look a completely different team without Lidstrom and Stuart back there....

If Krueger sticks with 3 scoring lines (none of which include Ryan Smyth), I think Detroit will have a hard time matching up against us.

Kronwall can only play so many minutes.

I really, really like those lines. I'm so happy to see Jones out of the offensive lines, even for a short while.

I just love that Gags and Yak are on the same line. They really seemed to hit it off on twitter. Good friendship brewing.

Love it. If RNH/Ebs can return to last season's form, we'll be a very solid team.

The Wings have been terrible on the road in regards to their PP. Hopefully they don't break that cycle against the Oilers.

First road PP goal was last night. The wings are not good on the road, 3-6-2

I think we take this one, 4-2

yeah i watched the 3rd period last night and the wings were TERRIBLE... they don't play like that twice in a row very darn often... i expect the good wings team to show up tomorrow... coupled with us being back after a long road trip (which is always bad), i don't see us doing very well tomorrow night... in fact i expect us to be destroyed, lol

This isn't the Red Wings of old. They were just beat twice in a row by the Blue Jackets. The first game back after a long road part does scare me though so we'll see how much energy the Oilers can muster.

Yep Olers face the most rested team in league hands down , and at same time we have had a lot of back to backs against rested clubs. Oilers management need to scrutinize schedule better when released we got 3 tired clubs all season complete bs. Calgary has had 10 or so.

I don't care what anyone calls it as long as he's confident and playing the way he has been lately

Detroit the city must be a factor now for Detroit the team. I mean that city is about as close to Gotham City as you can get. Pretty soon they are going to have to escort teams to the arena with bullet proof buses and armed security guards. And I'm only half joking.

The fans of 28 other teams think the same thing about Edmonton.

Hopefully Ralph can limit Horcoff's minutes and allow him to be effective. Top unit PK and PP combined with being on the top EV line is going to wear Horc out. Especially going up against the Datsuykian one tonight.
