Refs need to step in when a guy gets his sleeve out of his jersey. Its a decided advantage, just like when a jersey goes over someones head.

I'm surprised Thorburn did so well. Orr got the win, but Thorburn stuck in there with him. Thorburn is not a heavyweight. Not even close. I've been watching him fight since his days in Rochester. He's come a long way, but he isn't in the same class as guys like Orr, Scott, Parros, etc...

Orr couldn't really throw a punch when Thorburn tied up his arm, so that was really the only way he could throw. If Thorburn doesn't put all his energy into keeping Orr's arm tied up he'd have stayed in his jersey and the fight would have likely ended the same way.

Lmao what? Only reason his hand got loose was because Thorburn was holding on so tight. How is it an advantage ? Should the fights be stopped after a fighter gets his elbow pad off too? I mean thats an advantage as well.

What was Thorburn complaining about anyways at the end of the fight?

Most likely complaining because he thought the fight was over and Orr was still throwing rights at him

How was the fight still over when Orr didnt stop throwing rights? Its a fight bud, you dont stop fighting until both of you are wrapped up, both of you stop throwing punches, you both agree that its over or when one (or both) of you end up on the ice.

I don't consider that a sucker punch at all. Bourque shouldn't have grabbed Orr's face and knocked his helmet off when he was engaged with another player. You want to third man in on Colton Orr? Get ready to eat a right. But you're right I was actually thinking of changing it to Dyzurnski laying face down on the ice or the punch connecting to his jaw from McLaren

I seriously dought Peluso could hang with Orr. I just checked out most of his fights, hes tough, but Orr is in another division of heavyweights. So to respond to your comment i think peluso is lucky he wasn't in the lineup.

we will never know until Peluso is healed up. Orr is tough but he is not unbeatable by any means.

Orr is 2013 HW champ

to say Peluso with a limited card is his match is ridiculous

Well the way I see it, Thorburn stood up pretty good against Orr and I believe Peluso to be a FAR tougher customer than Thorburn.

Wow, Thorburn got a little lucky there. He was completely overwhelmed and got out of it without taking any seriously damaging shots.
