Then you must not be paying attention when you're watching. He's been plenty good, especially at controlling the puck and skating it into the attacking zone. I can certainly see why he was a waiver wire pickup, but the kid's got skills.

lol I don't understand, every GDT only talk around PJ is him falling down, now he's a good pick up and has skills? Not disagreeing that he has skills, I just haven't watched him play at all

He has skill and tenacity but he falls down a lot especially when he gets hit, no balance at all but he goes hard into the corners and front of the net

Really wish they would scratch Jones and keep in Palushaj, he may fall down quite a bit (he's improved a bit anyway) but at least he gives it 100% on the ice and attempts to play physical/gets to the dirty areas. Jones just pretty much floats around the entire game.

I won't argue the guy is pretty easy to knock down, but I can give hm credit for not being a perimeter player in spite of that. Dude can do pretty well when he can find the space to operate.

And generally makes at least 1 very good pass to set up a scoring chance every game.

Have you been watching vintage 96/01 Avs games lately without knowing it? That's the only thing I can think of that would make anyone believe that's possible. It's going to take more than one game of consistent life/effort for me to be hopeful going into any game for the rest of the season.

That game against EDM really pissed me off...

(Win or lose, Landeskog/the team better show some serious emotion and energy tonight.)

So do we get to see a Jones/Plooshy winger pairing this game? Would love to see Radar centering the drunks.

It's hard seeing Florida not end up 30th.

Injured: Kris Versteeg (knee), Ed Jovanovski (knee), Mike Weaver (lower body), Dmitry Kulikov (wrist), Scott Upshall (lower body), Stephen Weiss (wrist), Jose Theodore (groin), Michael Caruso (wrist)

I agree with you Bendi. I just love when some people here get upset at the word 'TANK'. We suck. Not everything this team puts out on ice is a golden ****.
Hawks went through a period of 10 years with ONE playoff appearance. They're home games weren't even broadcaster, what would you call that?

With the exception of the kings maybe the rest are all big time hockey markets. That can take a few years of losing, could the avs? Maybe, maybe not but I'd rather not find out. Another thing between the clubs you mentioned only 2 of them have a cup this millennium.

Not everything this team drafts is a golden ****, the more you losing years and high picks the more likely you'll draft a bust/disappoinment.

Zanon goes from healthy scratch to the top pairing with EJ?

Is that the top pairing?

Can it be the top pairing without Hunwick out there?

Glad I'm not the only one, Plooshy is >>> Pajamas, especially cause it even somewhat conveys the drunkenness of his skating.
