He did more than Maxime Ouellet.

Nobody tell Homer about him. He'll give him a 9 year contract.

Well, Hiller and Fasth are both starters, though. I don't think Emery is a way better back-up, I'd put him on par with Hedberg. Biron is also good and I have nothing against him. Hard to say which one's better, I think they're about equal. But as for Bachmann, I don't think he's played enough to warrant a firm opinion in regards to this yet.

I think Emery is the best backup in the league. Not sure the love with Bernier, he's a midget and I want somebody ESTABLISHED if we get another goalie. No more ********

Since the org loves their re-treads, let's give Houle another shot.

So many people continue to argue over who's given up the weakest goals this season like it matters.

Giving up 5 softies and 5 good goals on 100 shots is a lot better than giving up 0 softies and 12 good goals on the same 100 shots.

It doesn't matter whether Bryz (or any other goalie) gives up goals on easy to save shots as long as he makes a few more tough saves to make up for it. What matters is how many pucks you keep out of the net, not necessarily how you keep those out of the net or which ones you keep out of the net.

The simple fact at the end of the day is that Pittsburgh is playing very poorly in the defensive end this year too and Vokoun has the same save % as Bryz. Playing "who's given up the worst goal" won't change that fact, nor will it tell you who's playing better this year.

Goaltending is an issue, but its probably our smallest issue as long as Bryz doesn't go down to injury.
