He's been pretty good this year so far. Nobody has really booed him this season. They probably would have if it was in Vancouver where Detroit scored 8 on him.

Generally, Vancouver's goaltending hasn't been an issue this year at all really.

And the one line that has been the best for us tonight, Hali, Smith and Boychuk get broken up yet the Legwand line, which has been invisible is kept together. Yeah, that makes sense. I just don't get it sometimes.

Vancouver knows how to play us. They simple just lay back and let us try to score and knowing that we can't.

We have scored 3 goals. If you told me that before the game I'd say it was improbable. That's not bad though....3 goals.

Halischuk is playing with a fire under his butt after his demotion to the AHL and recall due to the injury bug. If only the rest of the club would follow his example of the past couple games and Clune's all season. Talent is useless without hard work and right now our lesser talent is simply outworking our supposedly better players.

Halischuk has had a strong game and was great on the forecheck on Fisher goal. He got a "phantom assist" there though!

Can we clone Hali? Or maybe we can give our other forwards some performance enhancing drugs? I won't tell.

Was that deflected or did Smith just pull another empty net shot?

Same shot by Smith, but this time there was at least a goalie in the net!

Why were Halischuk and Kostitsyn the first two defenders back?
