Haven't watched the show, but IMO the music choice is too iconic, when it should be something more... generic.

Bacon is delicious but you have to take it a bit at the time, while i fully endorse eating 3lb of deep fried bacon per meal I don't recommend it

Muddy Pig was good. Excellent burger with the nice charcoal flavor. Had the Fulton Ringer cask ale, an IPA that was like Hopslam with more citrus and less hops and booze. Then an Epic Hopulent, which was also good, similar flavor dialed back a bit. Finished up the night over at Happy Gnome with an Odell's chocolate milk stout, which tasted like a chocolate bar.

Krishna is right, we're taking an awfully long time to finish these threads off lately.

I think I've got something that might beat spilled food: I was laid off today. It had nothing to do with me in particular, the economy's just terrible right now and I was the last to come and one of the first ones to leave. It wasn't really that unexpected, but I'm not gonna pretend and say it doesn't hurt. The good news is that I'm not totally broke, I've been saving for a rainy day for years (especially during college when I could live off very little), so I have about 6-9 months to find a new job before I start running out of cash.

Thanks. It doesn't feel that bad anymore (and after a few drinks it'll feel even less terrible) and I already wrote a few applications, but man, I don't know what do without a job!
If we didn't have free college here, I'd be up to my ears in debt and wouldn't have been able to save all that money. That's one of the reasons I love this country so much.

Looking forward to seeing this, hopefully sometime soon. He's capable of making some great movies, and capable of making garbage where everybody just does Quentin Tarantino Ranting impersonations. And impersonating probably the most obnoxious dude on earth, ugh.

The original Django is pretty interesting, if you haven't seen that.

Just keep plugging away, sooner or later you get something right?

I've been applying like crazy over the past month or so and have only gotten 1 interview in that span.. feels kinda bad.

Man all this complaining today and I, strangely have nothing to add.

Except a headache, but that really doesn't count.

Got to watch it this weekend. About Tarantino's production.. outside the classics, I loved Jackie Brown. Very underrated movie.

Only strip that wasn't very impressive was Death Proof.

Death proof was great if you went to the theatre and experienced the whole grindhouse thing. It was really fun.

Yeah, maybe so. I saw only Death Proof. And didn't see it in the in the theatre. It could've been different experience.

Some of Tarantino's films are a bit uneven. They're genre movies mostly and Inglorious ******** for example was between brilliant and just good. Every time Tarantino makes a movie, expectations are very high though.

Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, Jackie Brown. Wow. I'm looking forward to see the Django.
