Adam Hall is on waivers.

Still excellent on faceoffs (56.4%). Solid size. Cheap 650 K cap hit. UFA this summer. RH shot.

Would be tempted to claim him, I see no risk here.

Could be a useful 4th liner and PKer for us, guys like him are useful down the stretch and in the playoffs. I still don't see why we didn't claim Ben Eager

I'd rather keep Nokalainen up than claiming Hall. And I want no part of Nokalainen on the pro roster. So...

It could be a good idea since he's one of the best faceoff man in the NHL for the last 5 years....They only thing is he's always in the minus(+-) at the exception of this year.....

Lets see if Bergevin is interested

Also Steckel traded for parts today. Faceoff king, we could have used him.

Apparently any grinder who is signed, waived or traded for is useful to the Canadiens, that is, until we actually acquire them, then people will find reasons as to why they suck and why we should get brand new shiny 4th liners.

Does he really bring something more than Nokelainen?

Quite surprised that noone started a thread saying we should claim Nokelainen...

I'll remain with Bryan Bickell, David Clarkson and Maxim Lapierre!

Pacioretty (6-2)- Desharnais (5-7)- Clarkson (6-1)
Bourque (6-2)- Plekanec (5-11)- Gallagher (5-8)
Bickell (6-4)- Galchenyuk (6-1)- Eller (6-1)
Prust (5-11)- Lapierre (6-2)- Dumont (5-11)/ Moen (6-2)/ White(6-0)
Extra: a big MOFO

Do you plan on get these players at the TDL or as UFAs because I doubt they're available ATM. Even if they are available, they will come a pretty heavy cost (mainly Clarkson).

Couldn't agreed more.

I have this feeling that a lot of Habs fans are insecure against the Bruins so they wants all players that has the capacity to fight Lucic, Thornton, McQuaid or even Chara.

Maybe they are insecure. Maybe they want to beat the **** out of them.

White-Dumont-Moen

A lot better line-up.
I prefer Gio over Ryder but that's just me. You can part ways with both. And trade Moen.

I've got an even better theory:

Maybe they want Subban, Eller and Pacioretty to be able to play their game without being chirped at/intimidated by some nutcases on the Bruins...

I'd love to see them get a beatting too but I don't want my team to be built just to play against the Bruins. And if you want to beat them, then do it smartly. They like to go after our small guys, then we should go after after their smaller guys. Tell Prust, Moen, White to go after guys like Bergeron, Krejci, Marchand or Seguin. We just need to outsmart them and knowing them, it won't be that hard.

Exactly what i've been talking about. You really think Subban, Pacioretty or Eller are afraid and gets intimidated when we play them? Subban always plays well against the Bruins and MaxPac is basically a Bruins killer. Don't think they are intimidated at all.

if gaborik is available should we trade for him. If ranger demands not to high and they would have to take kaberle in the package. Our casp goes up 3m and we get a real speedster who can score. I think he fit in real good on DD and Patch line. He would fit alot better in our system than what the rangers are playing thought

He would fit in well, but Habs need another player like Pacioretty. Not enough size, this will always be their problem until Bergevin finally adresses it.

I really like Chris Stewart from the Blues. But they would need a defensemen for now, and a prospect like Tinordi. Not sure who we can give up from our current blueline?

Size ? I think people these days are like 'OMG ME LOVE SIZE' when actually size ain't that important. See, Pacioretty is 6'2 200 while Gaborik is 6'1 205... let me ask a question, who would you take, Brian Boyle or Cal Clutterbuck ? Did you like Andreas Engqvist ?

And Chris Stewart is a PPG player for the Blues, forget about it.

Replace Bickell with Perry and that is my ideal forward corps for next year. we would be unreal!
