Luke Schenn is practicing; therefore, he is likely playing tonight.

Bad exhaust fumes in Devils' dressing room and coaches' room.
Thank you for the fumes, maybe it finally woke up Zajac and Clarkson.

Exhaust fumes? Did John Goodman fart or something?

Well I was not sure about tonight, so I asked Siri and she told me, "The odds are in favor of the Flyers in this one, by 1.5 goals." LOL

no i dont think you are honestly. We saw it in the Boston game, and in the last game. they fall behind and they pretty much pack it in as they say.
They are a mentally weak team right now. They are saying all the right things after and before games but on the ice this team is weak mentally.

I guess Lavi has finally found a system adjustment to counter the Devils: run a hose from his vehicle's exhaust pipe to the Visitor's locker room, then do the exact same thing for the hundredth time and hope it works while they're sleepy.

Just to note the Flyers are 9-11 against the Devils in the regular season and 5-5 in the playoffs vs the Devils with Lavy as coach.

I'm betting the record is worse since DeBoer has been coach.

Edit: I think it's 3-6-1

anyone read the daily news today? all the Homer quotes about how he thinks the team is good as is, that its not on the coach at all and that this slump is all on the players, that he doesn't want to hear questions about jagr and carl not getting resigned because that has nothing to do with the standings. reading it made me sooooooo angry. he is basically saying that nothing he or lavy will or have done is their fault its all on the players. he also doesnt think an acquisition or trade is needed to improve the d. outstanding. I used to think Homer was a great GM and really hockey smart but now I see he is an excuse making suit that is in way over his head. anyone else have thoughts on this? its just my opinion I'm open for discussion.

So why even bother posting on this forum, or watch? If you just don't watch any more games, the season is "over with."

I'll just be watching for the same reason I have since the lockout ended - to enjoy hockey I didn't expect to get the chance to watch this year anyway. Everything else is just the icing on top.

so Holmgren met with the players and called out their effort..

imagine how ****ed up it'll be if they play like they did on Wednesday tonight?

someone is definitely getting the ax if that happens.

i watch and post on the forum for the same reasons because i enjoy hockey. BUt instead of instilling a glimmer of hope of the playoffs that could lead to disastrous effects in terms of transactions I am hoping that that light be put out for sake of our future. Then this team will no longer be in limbo but have a clear direction of where they are heading this year.

This, plus it makes it more enjoyable when your team does better.
You got to live through the tough times to truly enjoy the good ones.

look at my above post, Homer said that he will not fire lavy because its the teams fault not his. he also said that he needs to make no transactions because the can win as is, and that he doesn't want to hear that jagr and carle walking has had an impact on the team because its not his fault either. its only the teams fault. which means basically that we can expect to see lavy for a while and that Homer is just going to deflect blame away from himself and his coach.
