Means Moen will probably play with Plek and Gionta.

A fourth line of Blunden-White-Armstrong is somehow reminescent of last year's talent level... I'm sure the first 3 lines will play a lot more in NJ.

And always sticks up for teammates even though he is kind of a punching bag. The best thing I like about him though is his hustle.

wha... our 4th line has been PRETTy good, and thats WITH moen not even looking like himself on it

now you place a hungrier, faster, and BIGGER blunden....and all of a sudden the 4th line will start to suck?... i disagree, i think theyre gonna bring loads of energy and grit, super psyched for blunden

maybe moen with plekanec will help him out as well, moens much faster than ryder

There are no words in this language that can express how much I despise Blunden as a player. I think he's even worst than Garth Murray.

Good post I was thinking the exact same thing. Dunno why people think Blunden sucks just because he was on a sinking ship.

So is he like a better version of Armstrong?

...okay, that's pretty irrational. But okay.

And what the heck is wrong with Garth freaking Murray now? He doesn't win enough fights for your liking?

No. He was just pathetic as a hockey player. That being said, I think he was still not as bad as Blunden is. Guy can barely keep balance on his skates and is a liability with and without the puck. Plus he's the biggest ***** I ever saw on the ice. Lets guys like Leblanc get rag-dolled by Blacker when he's on the ice, and gets his ass kicked by JP ****ing Coté trying to defend Geoffrion.

Now that I think of it, he was pretty terrible.

The hate is strong in this one. How about letting the guy his chance before judging him?

I love how Karlsson and Campoli are just exchanging recipes at the end there.

There's just something about a guy like Blunden that reminds me what happened last season, with Cunneyworth playing him on the 2nd line and everything. I just hate how he plays the game as well. In Hamilton he's been trying to play fancy in all the games I watched him, sometimes turning the puck over 2 or 3 times in the same shift. I've learned to despise him in the AHL this season. and I already wasn't a fan last season to begin with.

Won't hurt you, won't make much of an impact. Good guy to fill a jersey for a couple games.

Somewhere in the Bell Centre, Bergevin's phone is ringing. It's Darche

And is it just me or were we not a crash and bang team under Cunneyworth?

I've watched more than enough from a guy like Blunden to know he's a disgrace on the ice. Him watching Leblanc getting intimidated by Blacker was when I started despising him. This guy is a black hole for any puck possession time offensively in the AHL. What do you think he is going to be in the NHL?

I'd rather if we had recalled a guy like Leblanc, or if we played with 7 d-men. That's still what I hope we're going to do against the Devils.

We were not anything under Cunneyworth. Pathetic excuse of a coach.

Fair enough you seem to have watched him more than I have this year so I'll respect your opinion. But I think that with a well defined role with the Canadiens he can be very useful, and at the very least he moves his feet more than Moen.

There's no gray areas with you are there.

Listen to the commentators though in that vid, they say we've been targeting Karlsson since the start of the game. And I did notice an overall increase in the physical department once Martin got canned.

I'd still rather dress Kaberle to play on the 2nd PP wave and ride with 7 d-men than dressing this sack of potatoes.

Not with last year. I hate everything that had anything to do with the disaster that happened last year.

I'm getting a feeling that the Habs org. are pulling out players with light injuries before they get worse rather than play them for as long as possible (as was the case with the previous management).

So a second liner is injured... Unless of bringing up Leblanc/Bournival... We bring up Blunden ? I hope Prust or Bourque are ready because thats a bad move. Leblanc will never get a rest.

Just call him up, give him some confidence, tell him we like him....
