80's Power Play - Forwards on the Point

Please list any and all forwards you recall that played on the point during power plays (by team) during the 80's. It's helpful for those replaying these seasons with board games or computer games. Thanks!

Gretzky with the Oilers and Kings is the obvious one, though he liked to move around. He also liked the side boards and being behind the net.

Bernie Nicholls sometimes played on the point for the Kings on PP before Gretzky's arrival.

Gretzky and Lafleur come to mind. They were both awesome!

WHAT A PLAY! Goes right around everyone!

Denis Savard playing the point on the Powerplay

I have tried to do some research on the topic and have read quite a few articles that cost money so I can only read the first sentence or too, does anybody have any info on Denis playing the point over his career on the PP?

The one who I think did it the most - and purposely - was Bill Barber. The Flyers always put Barber on the point and he thrived. Malkin tends to do it as well although he moves around. The best modern day player to do it consistently I would say is Brad Richards (he did it all the time in Tampa and I am not sure if he still does in NYR)

Didn't Ron Francis frequently play the point in Hartford? Or is my memory going fuzzy on me?

I'm not sure about Hartford off hand but definitely he did in Pittsburgh.
