The Colorado Avalanche are proud to select, from The Guelph Storm...
An overager (a huge one, at that), he's a hefty power-forward with some good speed and offensive skill. He definitely made the most of having an extra year to show off what he's got, and our scouts noticed. He's a low risk, high reward player, as with his size and speed, he'll be at worst a good 4th line energy checker, with the potential to be a top power-forward in the league. We're very happy to have added Justin to the Avalanche.
Auger is a personal favorite of mine. Itís not often that you see players with his combination of size, mobility and puck skills. He is a good skater who shows above average acceleration and mobility for his size. When he is confident and assertive, he has the ability to generate offense off of the rush. His progression throughout the year has been interesting, and he should be a mid to late round NLH Draft selection.

I'll be gone for about an hour or so, i'll update the board when I get home. Im following everything on my phone, and if my pick comes up I can do it, but its just too much to try and do the board on such a small screen.
with the 91st pick overall, the are proud to select....From The Kelowna Rockets of the WHL.....Mitchell Wheaton
Scouting Report:Big stay-at-home defenseman who chose the Rockets over many U.S.University scholarships he was offered. Wants to be a hockey player and will work hard and improving all parts of his game. Already over 225 pounds. Will need to continue gaining quickness and strength but looks like a very good long-term project.
