Liking Jensen more and more as a player, wherever he plays, on whatever team. Looking like a really good prospect.

Ya, he would be a big help. With Kesler out, we just don't have too many shooters on the PP.

On the second he had an open tip, 10 feet out in the slot with the goalie out of position. He tipped it wide.

My point is that if Schroeder he has to be the kind of player that you can't give chances to. He has to be a scorer. He can't just be a quick little player that lays decent 5 on 5 hockey. He just has not demonstrated enough scoring skill. Maybe he will down the road but he hasn't yet. right now if you wanted the a person on the Wolves to be open for a shot or breakaway you would want Davies - a guy who will never be in the NHL.
But there's simply no player like that in the AHL or the NHL. Players mess up on chances, that's why you want them to generate more of them. These past two game, since coming back down from the NHL, Schroeder is creating more chances than he ever has at this level. If he scored on every chance he gets, he would be a 3PPG player, that's just an unreasonable expectation to have.

I mean, you're going so far as to blame him for missing on a tip! That's just a completely unreasonable expectation.

Jensen with a very good shift - almost scored - looking very dangerous - playing with Longpre who is having another tough game

Schroeder had every chance to convert that tip.

I think you are being too defensive on Schroeder.

Jensen was wide open on the PP on the RW, Haydar made a pass to him, Jensen used his skate to control and then sniped it into an empty net.

Jensen in the AHL:

12 games played, 8 goals. Unreal pace, especially considering the kind of ice time he has received.

It's so weird having such immense goalie depth in our system.

Vandermeer sounds like he's crap. At least JC's getting a lot of practice?

@orcatown Do you think Joslin could replace Alberts next year?

Jensen's 2 goals were on the PP. He still has work to do at ES. I can see him improving pretty quickly but he can't be getting called up until those same results are coming both on the PP and at ES.

Jensen looked very good on PP. Already the best passer on this team. Little hyperbole but probably true.

Jensen seems to be scoring well with the limited time he has with better offensive players.

Archibald scores. Great job by Schroeder on that PP. Brilliant puck movement all around.

The way Archibald is playing right now, he might be a 4th line option to start next season. Perhaps even this season at this rate.

Nervous and having a bit of trouble with the speed but he moves the puck well and has nice offensive instincts. I'm liking him so far.
