You have me second guessing myself, but I think its Nelson Figueroa, and I believe Blue Jays.

This is gross. I think they said USA have 1 XBH in last 22 innings.

1. How the **** are you getting shut down by Nelson Figueroa!?!?

2. Why would you run on Molina down 4-0?

It's Nelson Figueroa and he hasn't pitched in the majors since 2011. Been toiling around AAA.

Part of it was probably to give Braun a fresh count to lead off the next inning.

Was close.

I caught all my life, I always believe the hitter should fight it off if its that close. I don't have a problem with that call.

Ball 4! US down 4-3 now, tying run on third, go-ahead run on second.

What was even funnier was him getting on his case for swinging at the last pitch. He obviously would have been crucified if he watched that one go by.

Maybe this humiliation will inspire more US players to play in the tournament next time. I heard that some agents actually talked their clients out of playing for the US.

They didn't even get out of the 1st round in 2006 and in 2009 they had guys like John Grabow, Matt Lindstrom, Mark DeRosa, Brad Ziegler and Jeremy Guthrie on the roster. This year they had Vinnie Pestano and Willie Bloomquist. Americans really don't care about this tournament, especially when it's played.

Fantastic news of the US losing. Now hopefully all players can return to their respective teams and focus on the true prize; a World Series.

Cubans in Miami have a much different relationship than Puerto Ricans.

It was originally supposed to inspire the Americans to not show up at all and only use minor leaguers, according to ESPN.

That's also the reason why ESPN isn't showing this anymore
