Faulk for me. I see him as a good #1 two-way dman down the road, a guy who is very good at pretty much everything with no real weaknesses. I like Voynov a lot too, I definitely see him as a good top 4 dman, but I don't see him as that #1 stud.

How is this an argument? I've given facts, stats and my own opinion, as well.
Voynov PP TOI: 54:37
Faulk PP TOI: 71:40 (only 1 point to show for it)

You definitely gave your facts and stats. They were just wrong.

In fact, Voynov has more even strength points, than Faulks' cumulative.

He is just having a better offensive year. Could be worse...could have a goose egg like Doughty...lol.

I'm not concerned about Faulk's offends. At 19 years old he put up 22 points in 66 games. At 19 Voynov had 23 points in 61 games, in the AHL. I'm not trying to tear Voynov down, but anybody touting his great offensives season do far needs to remember that Faulk is a couple years younger.

No need. He's a great Dman. Just don't agree with people saying he is the better overall player at this point. It's simply not true.

Do you have an argument for that conclusion that does not involve points?

Voynov, he is finally getting some recognition around here. He was instrumental in last years playoffs for the Kings and he has continued to build off from there onwards. He isn't exactly great defensively at the moment but he is above average in that regard already and will continue to build his two way play.

Faulk is a good d-man and will likely be the better defender of the two defensively as well but I do not see him being in the same breath offensively as Voynov.

It's more like, Carolina just has a bad PP, and Faulk is not really a power-play guy anyway.
