Best Young Cores In The NHL.

Obviously Edmonton will get alot of love.

Have to admit I don't know too much about other teams young cores, but have to say the Habs got a pretty impressive group, and they're my team, so I'll pump their tires.

G-Price

D-Subban
D-Emelin

F-Galchenyuk
F-Gallagher
F-Eller
F-Pacioretty

Then you got some guys that are borderline (over 25 or prospects) like Desharnais, Tinordi, Beaulieu, Collberg and Diaz.

So what are the best young cores around the league?

There are very few teams that have the balance we have at every position.

I'm going to say Chicago though.

Just watching the Oilers/Detroit game.

Oilers by a mile. Taylor Hall may become the best player in the league.

Price, Subban, Eller, Pacioretty AND Galchenyuk? That's just unfair. Sorry NHL

Doubt it!

But can someone tell me why he has only 5 goals but 18 assists? He's supposed to be a goal scorer. Dam I wish I had gamecenter or center ice.

He has 6 goals now. He did have major shoulder surgery.... also he said his goal coming into the year was to improve his playmaking. I would say so far he's done that

Well we might need to define core players here.

I tought your core players were Karlsson, Spezza, Michalek, Anderson, Turris.
Because core means you know... your core....

Send a message via AIM to BruinsFTW
Only one person said Boston?

Most of their core is under 27...

Bergeron 27
Horton 27
Krejci 26
Rask 26
Khudobin 26
Mcquaid 26
Lucic 24
Marchand 24
Seguin 21
Hamilton 19

Then you have Spooner, Knight, Khovachlechev (sp?), Tardif, Suave, Caron, Subban etc...

Pretty good young core I'd say....
