Cup Qualifying is underway for Food City 500; Vickers is in the 55 this week; 18-Kyle Busch is currently provisional pole;

looks like we're down to 42 Nationwide cars, as a multi-car incident damaged the 5-Sweet, 33-Harvick, 52-Gase, and the 70, Gase has to withdraw due to no backup car

She is a terrible driver who brings in a lot of money. The equipment that she is driving should allow her to get a couple more top 10's, maybe. Unless of course, she is in the right place at the right time at one of the plate tracks.

We all know what Tony is doing with her.

Milking the cash cow. As I said earlier, she is the female Paul Menard.

Kyle Larson drove the wheels off his car today. What a great run.

Bristol woes continue for Tony. I was excited for this race considering his starting spot compared to his last 4 years or so.

man, look at all the empty seats......they used to get bigger crowds for the old busch grand national races!!!!
and theyre 170 laps in, so its not like its just people are showing up late.

I was thinking the same thing. Must be a tough economy down there.

I am really enjoying the new car at Bristol. Guys are able to pass so you see a ton of two wide and sometimes 3 wide racing. The lap traffic throws in an interesting variable to the race since the leader can't take off and build up a 10 sec. lead on the 2nd place car.

Pit strategy here is interesting as well.

I guess you can't take two tires at Bristol.

Wait until you see them run Indy. More empty than full seats. It was a terrible idea to run nationwide there. Better a full IRP than a 90% empty IMS.

Logano and Hamlin have been barking at each other on Twitter since Daytona.

indy is a horrible track for spectators. absolutly horrible!!! with all the crap built up inside the track, you cant see anything more than what happens right in front of you. i went to indy one time and had a seat between one and two. all i could see was the cars coming out of turn one, and going into turn two. even if you have a seat in the high rows, you still cant see over all the crap in the infield.
i ended up paying $175.00 for my ticket just so i could watch about %95 of the race on the jumbo-tron piece of garbage.

get indy and pocono off the schedule and id be a lot happier.

What do you suggest as replacements for these tracks? Please don't say more 1.5 mile front stretch tri-oval tracks.

I would put Rockingham back on the schedule in place of one of the Kansas dates before I got rid of Indy or Pocono.

Now that the Pocono races are 400's instead of 500's there's no reason to get rid of Pocono. Would like to see Rockingham in place of Kansas as well, otherwise the schedule is fine. A race at Road America would be good too, but probably never will happen.
