Better effort on the Gdt thread. 5-1 loss, TEA line gets the first goal in the opening minutes. Our goalie lets in 5 in the last half of the third period.

You'd actually not believe the hate a lot of hardcore Oiler's fans around here have for him.

That said, 5-1 loss cause Thunder Bug is cooler than Stormy, the Rays have the most bestest baseball park in the history of the universe and because I heard that the Nasty Boyz live//Train in Tampa.

I'm confused as to why a good ole Canadian boy would forgo signing with a Canadian team to play in the....*gasp*...South.

And I'm glad he's developing. Good eye, Ronny.

I'm guessing that by the looks of it, Carolina looks like a pretty nice locale especially when considering the weather here. As well, while there has always been a sort of anti-American sentiment in Canada in general, there are some of us that really like the States and aren't too fond of Canada for many reasons too long to go into. There's more, like the Oilers but a long story indeed. Anyhow, who knows? Hope they win and everyone plays well, including Muller.

Just noticed that Lecavalier is on IR.

That should help.

I don't get a good feeling:

* We are a better team and SHOULD win, therefore we won't.
* TB coming off a bad loss to NYI at home last game, they will come out flying
* As soon as we have a chance to put someone away, we fail (See Capitals, Washington)

7-2 loss

I've lamented the piss-poor performance of the team late in games, but I think this statement is a misrepresentation of the actual results. They've allowed a comeback loss to only WSH this year, so I wouldn't characterize it as a general trend. However, I'd agree if you had said "When we have a chance to put someone away, we play like crap".

The divisional odds have to catch up. Our record in the SE is bordering on flukishly bad.

Our gdt's are starting to get pretty weak. No start time even included? You mean I have to do all the work of going over to nhl.com to look that up for myself?

Now that things are going well, it's obvious that certain forumers are getting lazy.

Yep, we saw what happened last time we had a lazy GDT. I COULD go all forum nazi and delete this as being bad juju, but I won't. But this needs to serve as notice, another loss with a half-ass GDT tonight MUST result in at least a 95% assed GDT until further notice.
