Caps @ Bruins 3.16.2013 1 PM

Quote:
Stephen Whyno ‏@SWhyno
#Caps send D Cameron Schilling to Hershey. Interesting ....

Stephen Whyno ‏@SWhyno
Oates said yesterday there were "some decisions" to make for D today. #Caps have Alzner,Carlson,Oleksy,Schultz,Poti healthy.

Stephen Whyno ‏@SWhyno
Several possibilities exist. Oates said he didn't want Green to play if not 100 percent, that Hillen wasn't yet ready. #caps

No. "I donít want to put him with Alex necessarily" RT @JapersRink: Did he say expressly that it's b/c they're both right-handed?
Aaron Volpatti - Nicklas Backstrom - Alex Ovechkin
Eric Fehr - Marcus Johansson - Troy Brouwer
Jason Chimera / Mathieu Perreault - Mike Ribeiro - Joel Ward
Matt Hendricks - Jay Beagle - Joey Crabb

Defensive Pairings I'm guessing will be

Alzner-Green
Schultz/Poti-Carlson
Schultz/Poti-Oleksy

Also again why is Schultz and Poti over Orlov?

“I have no problems doing that if it gets a little bit out of hand sending a message or keeping the other team accountable,” Volpatti said. “It’s not an issue.”

whose he dropping the gloves with today?

So Hillen, Schultz and Poti on our back line? Hell I think our beer league team has a better back line then that. FREAKING TERRIBLE

game starts at 1 pm and we don`t know the lineup I see no mentions about Green lately. Is Green playing tonight?

Terrible forward depth and d depth is why capitals are losing games. Gotta hope kuznet or foraberg are ready next year so ovie and backstrom actually have someone with hockey sense on their line.

Haven't seen Hillen play. Excited to watch him. He should be better than both Schultz and Poti since he can actually skate. He came from Nashville so he probably at least knows what he's doing.

Id like to see him back in the lineup, but I think he has been out of the game for awhile and needs to get his confidence and conditioning back up. Being out for 3 months will take a toll on you

So I am going to assume you have completely ignored the MANY reports from Hershey fans about how poor Orlov has been since coming back and how it is very clear he needs some time to get up to speed with things again?

Thanks.

I started reading this thread and talk of Orlov. Got my hopes up. Then there was talk about Green. Got my hopes up. Then I heard Schilling was sent down so I thought maybe Erskine was back. Got my hopes up. None of the three aforementioned are playing today? Should I get my hopes up?

Yeah, we really haven't had a chance to see him play with his Caps teammates yet. Here's hoping he doesn't get plastered again!

Let's Go Caps!

Let me blindly predict any negative report on Orlov is wrong or a knee jerk reaction to a poor showing in a short sample size.

That team appears weak. He is coming back from a concussion. He should be the same player he was that made you like him in the first place.

Volpatti as 1LW. Ribeiro as 3C. Our defensive pairings are:

Alzner-Oleksy
Schultz-Carlson
Hillen-Poti

The tank is strong with this team. Fire George.

They look great. Wish the Caps went back to them, but as an alternate jersey, the Caps don't win much wearing them from what I remember.
